Favorite "L" Car Series of Today

I use the Brown Line a lot, so I like the 3200 Series Equipment.

I just voted for the 2600 series. I actually like the 3200 series more but they have fewer seats.

I like the 2200's becaus I use them a lot on the Blue Line and there Cool.

I'll miss them when they Retired. :-(

I thought the 2200s were better before the rehab, when they still had the black padded seats, and the lighted advertising racks. Now they are too bland, although the exteriors still look good.

These cars are my favorites because they are the first new cars I can remember as a kid. Even though the 2000 Pullman's were actually new in my lifetime, it was the 2200's I remember the most with the opening of the Kennedy Line to Jeff Park (shortly after the opening of the Dan Ryan a few months earlier)as I was a northwest sider.

I also liked these cars much better before the rehab. The interiors were much more comfortable with the black seats-and from what I remember, those seats didn't have much vandalism done to them...I guess it was just a matter of making these cars universal with the rest of the fleet. I'll miss these when they are gone.

I voted for the 2200s I love them beacuse they were built by BUDD a great American company. And there on the O'Hare Congress Doulgass line ( I dont like the color names) the doors are cool. It will be a shame when they retire these cars.
