Most of Forest Glen's D40LF fleet has been running lately. 1596 has hit 6 months of being OOS so it has dropped out of the list. 1647 1649 and 1665 have permanently retired. 1700 is supposedly awaiting repairs as it has not been in service for almost 3 months, but 1735 just made a return to service this week. Lower units that have not operated since June include 1046, 1039, and 1391. 1637 was sent to South Shops on July 2nd and has not made a return since. Forest Glen doesn't have anything running near the United Center. So unless FG is running some kind of shuttle service for the DNC, it doesn't make sense to move them after the DNC. If anything, temporarily assign them to whoever is running a shuttle ( like C. K, or North Park) then assign them permanently to FG. Or assign them to whatever garage where they ×will be permanently and have that garden the shuttles. Why CTA sends new buses to FG only to take them away is crazy. This is a regular exercise with them All garages are chipping in for the DNC now I'm not sure how many buses will be used but from what I've heard a lot of 8350s will get used for the DNC as the CTA wants to show off its best product currently to the masses. I don't know why they feel the need to do it that way as far as reassinging equipment, if anything there is over 330+ to evenly spread out among 4 or 5 garages now. 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
