Another new creation of old meets new.... I give you the GM Fishbowl TDHL5311. This model is a Low Floor bus like all the current bus models out there with the flip out ramp and kneeling function. In keeping with how the past Fishbowls were powered by Detroit Diesel, this bus will have the DD13 Engine installed in it, which will give it up to 470HP. Transmission choices will be the ZF, Allison and Voith Transmissions.*

*Hypothetical, if this bus ever was built and used by Transit Agencies. But General Motors has no plans to get back into the Transit Bus manufacturing.

Hey that's so cool good job buddy. I would ask if you could do a tmc 4400 version of this but that's basically a Nova bus lol so never mind lol.

That might have hacked if it you were doing a Flx 8500 series, but otherwise you need a program with a tool that rounds the corners of the windows. BusDrawings.com gallery of GMC; standard image of an 8500.

Actually that was the RTS Extreme, which I thought was too big of a fantasy.

Wow I didn't even know they were still around lol. The low floor bus they had on their page look really cool. The copyright said 2011 so I guess they're no longer in business.....or are they??? Lol

As best one can tell, they aren't. There was some guy from New York who posted they were in the running to get the 7900s contract, but it turned out he thought giving them some free publicity would get him a contract with them (having been let go when Daimler shut down Orion)..

Well, it's a modern take on a Fishbowl, Busjack. Most buses of today have the squared windows, so I just kept that but slanted them like the Fishbowls of the 1960's and 1970's. On a side note, the window dividers in the middle are for decoration only(they don't slide open), the bus has windows like a New Flyer or Nova LFS. The windows above are hopper design to crack open in the event of A/C failure.

Here is the Hybrid Diesel/Electric version... the THHL5311. This bus is also a Low Floor like it's Clean Diesel sister. The HybriDrive for this bus will be the GM/Allison variation, and the engine will be a Cummins ISL9 Diesel Engine with the same transmission options as it's sister model.

But Hybridrive is the BAE trademark, so that doesn't work either.
