BusExpert32
Here's a list of what I believe to be the current Nova assignment. 77th: 6400-6449, 6487-6520, 6868-6869, 6871-6883 (99 total) Archer: 6450-6480, 6521-6708 (219 total) Forest Glen: 6481-6486, 6709-6867, 6870 (166 total) list edited: 8/5/
nflyer22
Here's a list of what I believe to be the current Nova assignment. Is this anywhere close to being accurate? 77th: 6400-6449, 6487-6504 Archer: 6450-6480, 6505-6704 Forest Glen: 6481-6486, 6705-6883 By the way, does anyone know if there has been any more shuffling this weekend? Was the sighting of #6468 on the 18 insinuating more transferring? Hey, it's accurate enough for me to have someone finally come up with a list close enough. Thanks so much! I looked on the Tracker for some time and didn't notice anything unusual, so 6468 must be just a loaner. My question is that when did Archer get back 6504 - 6521? I thought higher number 6800s,, approximately 6845-6883, were at 77th unless they went back to FG. 6468 was most likely a weekday loan. There have been no other sightings of Novas reported on Kedzie routes. Kedzie remains all NFs as far as 40 footers go.

True, the highest-numbered 6800s were reassigned to 77th just prior to June 23rd, likely as part of a mileage swap. As far as I know, they're 6868-6869 & 6871-6883. 6870 either returned to Forest Glen or never left, at least as of about two weeks ago. Thanks, I've edited the list, but I've been seeing buses in the 6845-6867 range quite a bit in the last few weeks on FG's routes. Also, #6468 is showing up on bustracker on the 49 Western right now. I was looking at the 6400 numbered buses at Archer instead of FG when making my post. I thought the swap between 77th and FG would have been a more even swap though. 77th got more buses from FG than FG got from 77th. I just knew I remember seeing high number 6800s on various 77th routes, mainly 3, X3, 4, X4 and 6, but wasn't exactly sure of the total range that went to 77th. Is this anywhere close to being accurate? 77th: 6400-6449, 6487-6504, 6868-6869, 6871-6883 Archer: 6450-6480, 6505-6704 Forest Glen: 6481-6486, 6705-6867, 6870 Sounds pretty good except a few things I noticed. #6520 - #6487 are at 77th. Also I believe the glen's Nova's are #6709 - #6867. With #6870 thrown in. #6870 arrived back at the Glen the same day as the #6400's ( around 7/13) before most of them were transferred to Archer. Before that #6870 was at 77th from June 23rd until July 13th. When #6870 arrived at FG #6868 was transferred to 77th. Everything else looks correct. so to review: 77th has #6400 - #6449, #6487 - #6520, #6868, #6869, and #6871 - #6883. Archer has #6450 - #6480, #6521 - #6708. Fg has #6481 - #6486, #6709 - #6867 and #6870.
qwantae
This morning, I've spotted 6552 (Archer) operating Rt 56 Mil.with a "A" sticker on windshield on Washington/ Wells. Whats the deal: Forest Glen got some Archers buses along with former 77th 6400s?

I guess you could put it that way, seeing how 6552 has been seen a couple of times in reality and on the Tracker several days back, which also brings up the question...does Kedzie still have some of the Archer loans that were seen a couple weeks back? No. Kedzie hasn't had any further Archer Nova loans for those past two weeks since the last Nova sightings primarily on 12, 18, 126, and 148 with a stray sighting on maybe a few others. Kedzie has been using all its own buses again.
rmadisonwi
6552 is a special bus with a different interior configuration. It is being tested on different routes.
BusHunter
6552 is a special bus with a different interior configuration. It is being tested on different routes. Strange, I saw the bus pass right in front of me and didn't notice anything different. I wonder if this is another bus like #6618 with all seats in the lower area being mounted sideways. artthouwill
There was a bus out of Archer with different seats altogether. I rode it on 35th but I forgot the bus number. Could 6552 be it?

There are at least two buses which had prototype seats installed several years back. One is #6673 (currently operating on the #49), the other is #6462 (currently operating on the #60). Yeah, I remember something like that; the seats were all metal, with no blue paint, and sorta resemble the newer seats on the newer New Flyer deliveries, if I remember correctly. ArcherRider
Forest Glen does not have Nova #6832 because it was in accident so FG have only 157 NOVA bus.

There at 77th. Yesterday I spotted #6451, #6452 and #6454 all on either the #6 or #2. Two days ago I saw an amber Nova on Western at Milwaukee facing southbound. I couldn't see the number, but Archer shouldn't have any amber novas assigned. It's possible it could have been #6709 from FG, but that is just speculation so far. I thought that Archer been got rid of Amber Novas back to Forest Glen since they got 77ths, I never saw any Amber Nova since back then when 77th got more Ambers from FG. This is crazy with all this shuffling. But I wish 103rd can get some of Novas. But I was glad to see some of them back on #72 North Ave (Temporary) during the Air Water Show.
