garmon757
interesting that's not a np bus. I don't know if that could've been a fill in from kedzie. I wish I could've saw the run number. As long as there's not one Nova spotted on a Kedzie route.

Variety is good for the soul!! BTW, Kedzie was so generous to FG they have brought over a second bus, nice guys keep going. LOL!!

At least it's a good thing that FG had a couple of them for the time being.

I remember when I was in high school, I saw a TMC RTS (4697), a M.A.N. Americana, & a Flyer D901A on that route out of Kedzie.

Busjack
CTA has gone to the dogs That's a nice doggie, but if he piddles on the seat, CTA will have to condemn a brand new rail car. BTW, this one better be pregnant, in which case someone should have offered her a seat. In the meantime, call the medical examiner. And you better duck.
jajuan
No. You made a claim that going out in public was a health risk. While you did qualify it with "to varying degrees," It looks like riding transit is a higher health risk than most, although not quite up to going to Western Africa to get a case of Ebola. The TAs must consider the risks equivalent if they send out the toxic waste corps, or, as Tammy Chase claims, fumigate a car immediately on a report of bedbugs. I guess what we need from her is a complete list of vermin and pathogens that demand that degree of treatment. Yeah as in folks catch colds and the flu and what not because everyone of just having germs in general from everyday interactions. Simply put no one is 100% free getting anything. But we keep the chances close to zero by staying smart about it and sanitizing

Now I did witnessed a lower 4700s in 2001 and Archer's 5700s (#5754) in 2002 in which I was shocked as hell when I saw that.
jajuan
I thought about that myself. Hell, NP got about 110-120 artics as it is. How many more they need???? If you had seen the crowds coming from the lakefront after the show, you would have been like me saying oh yeah NP needed the help this weekend still even with the 100 plus artics. Even 77th helped with their artics on 151.

sw4400
What year was this??? When the Flxibles(5300-Series) were still assigned to FG and when the TMC's were undergoing their mid-life rehabs(getting the rear A/C Units)... 2001-2002. When the Flxibles(6000-Series) were assigned to FG and the Novas started to be assigned here, the TMC's and 5300's were scattered to the other garages that had them. Let's not forget that Archer unprecedentedly gave Chicago #5645-48 at that time also.

This has to be the first time in a while I haven't seen FG help out on the #72. I thought maybe it was because they have the old equipment or now Chicago has artics and don't really need that much help.

Hold that thought because for some odd reason, Kedzie is helping #72 with #4327. #4075 and #4130 are on that route too. #4107 and #4203 are on #151 and Kedzie's #4014 and #4037 on #151 but started @ Clark/Arthur Terminal instead of Belmont/Halsted. Since the epicenter is North Ave. Beach, more service on North Ave. makes sense, but I guess you are making the point that it should have been Chicago Garage's work. I'm trying to figure out the Americanas' roster on behalf of NP and Kedzie. 1600-1624 were at Kedzie from 1994 to 1997 before moving to FG. 4000-70 were always at K, by 1997 all below 4099 were at K, 4100-4112 moved to K in 2000/1. Any remaining vehicles in this series moved to NP in 8/02. From 8/25/02 the only Americanas at K were 4241/53/9/64/88 & 4330. These Americanas moved to North Park in July 2003

There was a short time (essentially between when FG lost the Flyers and got the Novas) when FG had a bit of the MANs from all 4 groups.
