1637 (OOS since July, at SS, need to know if it’s awaiting repairs or is retired)

1667 (OOS since May, was spotted at SS in June with 1824, found 1824 is now on LTH in the boneyard)

1672 (OOS since July, supposedly retired as it’s on south fence with minor accident damage)

1675 (this is in the boneyard on LTH right?)

1687 (OOS Since late June, nearly 3 months now)

1700 (OOS since the end of April, Forest Glen unit, nearly 5 months OOS, any sighting of 1700?)

1709 (at SS, is this awaiting repairs or retired?)

1751 is at SS not far from 1955. 1751’s farebox appears to have been removed.

1729 and 1784 sit next to each other at SS

1941 has been placed back in service.

I believe I saw 1903 in the boneyard today but it’s not far from 1757 just a few buses down.

After doing a lot of heavy digging over the past month I've officially received confirmation on the retirement process of the following rolling stock slated for LTH/300 retirement status. #1010/#1011 being the only exceptions as they are WBs 1 & 2. Everything else listed below has been towed to SS or in the process of being towed and placed primarily in the boneyard awaiting there turn to be hauled off for scrap in the next several years.

Considering that there's something like 70 to 90 in NP's range, its not surprising that its fleet looks like old 103rd's and 74th's.

Indeed, At some point though the new arrivals of #8700s along with overhauled #4300s should lower the average fleet age a bit. Hopefully the more at risk #1630 - #2029 Flyers can be monitored better as time progress over the next several months. A majority of the 260 retired are related to rusting.

In that the approximately 170 Novas to come are supposed to complete the retirement of approx. 550 NFs, the rust buckets shouldn't be around much longer. All that should be left is 450 of 5he under 1630 range..

A number of these I thought were already retired ages ago because even with accounting for seasonal garage moves and moves done due to displacement by incoming 8350s, I hadn't seen them for at least a couple of years. Also looking at how half the 16xx buses are FG buses from after the big NF for Nova swap between K and FG and the other half were from the remaining K 16xx's, it's clearer why both still got further additional NFs from other garages following that swap. The number ranges from C also helps explain why it got such a huge majority of the 8350s that were coming in at the time K finally started getting 8350s.

#1854 has returned to service after a near 2 month hiatus. #1714 was transferred back to Kedzie last night via SS. #1791 remains at SS and has no farebox. I'll keep my out for it but that bus hasn't moved around much since the early portion of July.

We need to see what bus is tracking as #1854, because last time I checked 1854 was in the boneyard with a Junk Title on it. Notice it has been running on routes that are normally articulated buses, not D40LF primary routes. I have a feeling it is an overhauled D60LFR (not 4359) and they have not renumbered the tracker yet.

#1614 is officially back in service. tracking service has not been fixed on it.
