garmon757
Just passed #1754 on the #9. it's not rehabbed.Wow!!! The weird part about it is that it was by #1755 inside the shop!!!
TripleTransit1
I can trump that.... on Monday as I approached Irving Park I saw not one..... not two..... but three EB #80's back-to-back-to-back all signed to Lake Shore. Talk about a #66 moment! Oh yeah? on Tuesday, I saw 2 #6400s and and a #1000 (back-to-back-to-back) on the #74 at the Damen/Elston/Fullerton intersection. All 3 buses were EB, and one of the #6400s had already passed the intersection, leaving the other 2 buses stuck at the light.

So far it looks like BusHunter has still trumped everyone with 4 buses back to back on the 152 yesterday compared to everyone else's sightings of 3 back to back buses. I didn't know that this was the bus bunching thread, especially given the bad weather yesterday.

BusHunter
Well here's #1691 trying out my new camera app. This is a image stabilized picture. (not taken from video) (can't tell if it's better or not, looks better since I balanced the white hue)
BusHunter
I want to say I saw #1740 now that I'm looking at the list and it wasn't rehabbed either but I'm just not that sure, I thought I saw it on #9. I did see #1455 on the #54B in person, that bus is still the same unchanged from a mechanical rehab missing all exterior upgrades.

(taking away all the bluish purple ghoulish lights, now how am I going to celebrate halloween with no scary buses) Well, I shouldn't give away secrets here, but the cat's out of the bag now.... The CTA has saved #7542, had both halves taken to a secret shop outside of Chicago and put it back together barely so the bus bounces up and down in the articulated section really hard on bumps and you can see the daylight in between the joints as it is holding together barely, but the CTA assures that the bus will not fall apart, just give thrill seekers a ride they won't forget. They're going to run it on a route that's TBD on 10/31/14 and have dubbed it the "Scary Bus" decked out with black paint, Ghosts, Pumpkins, Dracula, Frankenstein and orange and black colored lighting inside the bus. Time TBD, but rumored to start at 6:06p with a special fare of $6.66 to ride this one-time bus. Bus Operator is said to be outfitted with badge #666. The bus creaks, squeaks and the passengers shriek.... Ride it..... if you dare..... muhahahaha!!!!
