For what the tracker is worth (and I have lately said not much), the immediate effect of NS getting hybrids is that 6784-6786 quit tracking around July 15, and 6783 is not on the recent history.

I was going to add 6782, but the tracker has had it at N for over a year.

I noticed when NS took delivery of its hybrids, they stopped using 6477-6484.   I wonder if they are just holding on to them for a short time to ensure the hybrids are working out for them.   Seems like they could have sent those to SW or NW to eliminate what 30ft buses they have left.

You're correct, and I forgot about them. The last they were on the tracker was in early July. Those 8 plus the missing 6700s would approximate the 13 hybrids.

Your scenario is possible, but I'm thinking more W, because 6323-6366 are the oldest 40' buses, and nothing has been said about replacing them, unless W is in line for some of the 69 upcoming Low/No hybrids.*

*Update (and redone math): On reflection, the numbers of 69 6323s (including 15 express buses, but many apparently are OOS) and 69 No/Lows do align, so maybe that's it, so you may be right about the 30-footers.

6783 has been at N since 10/2020. It has not tracked since 3/5/2026.

Either 6371 or 6571 has migrated to SW.  CURRENTLY  on the 381 whichever one it is.

@maths22's tracker says 6371, but it has been at SW since 6/18.image.thumb.png.87a71adc6527292d58915f72efbca358.png
