1191 was reported as having gone to NP at the time of the latest shedding of NFs from 103rd. You already have it gone from 103rd, but it's not listed under NP. Matter of fact, it's on the 36 right now.

10-4, I keep forgetting that #1190 is at SS which initially I thought it was #1191.  I'll adjust it.

Here's a question.   In the context of a driver shortage, is there really a fleet shortage?  Yes there seems to be a lot of buses out of service,  but if they were in service,  would they be used considering the lack of manpower?

CTA says 21.4% of the fleet is out of service for maintenance (as of March) which looks like a relatively high level.

I saw an article the other day that Seattle King County Metro has 40% of the fleet awaiting maintenance because of a mechanic shortage, and it's so bad that it's impacting service even though they also have a driver shortage.

Having a good spare ratio of non defective buses with the available manpower we have now would be beneficial with all the defective buses I've seen at SS lately. I've seen an increase in operators entering service as of late but now we just need to have equipment be available for everyone to get a piece of the action.

I have 304 buses listed OOS for various reasons. However, I'm not sure if that adds up to 21 - 23% of the fleet being defunct but that's quite a lot to say the least. The dates range from two weeks to several months regardless if the bus is false tracking or not.

Now if I'm doing my math correctly here, 103rd hasn't run 32 #1000s in about the last 2 - 3 weeks now and seeing as more have started popping up every where now. The grand total that they've lost if Indeed those buses don't return soon would be 58 which in total bring there current fleet down from 103 to 71 #1000s. The situation is still fluid but I'm keeping a close eye on it.

That number has jumped up from 32 to 44 after another check of the roster this morning. So the actual total left active would be 58 and not 71.
