nflyer22 Posted March 11, 2014 Report Posted March 11, 2014 Actually if you look at my lifetime assignments the pdf I have here shows #1732, #1733, #1737,#1743, #1745, #1747, #1749-60 as delivered to 77th. That was around the time of July 4th, and 77th might have needed the extra buses for the fireworks extras. 1000 bus assignments June 2008 to Nov 2008.pdf IIRC, buses 1731-1760 as jajuan mentioned were originally slated for 74th, but some went to 77th because they had BusTracker issues. They got that fixed and eventually the buses made their way to 74th. Quote

The lights were blue tint not purple and bustracker said that was the bus pulling in. I saw the destination. I'm not too surprised. If we have #1681, #1703, #1798,#1955 and #1961 even if that is only a light rehab, it's coming. Although it would have been cooler if it was a #2000. Quote

Pre-rehab Allison buses tend to have the decal further back and more evenly spread over the rear windows. Quote

There are some that are not rehabbed but still have the website decal shifted forward a little bit. Come to think about it, most of them didn't have decals at all when they first were delivered. I'm trying to figure out how North Park had #1966 operating #151 in 2009. Quote

Not sure if I understand your last sentence, garmon... but if you're asking how North Park had 1966, that's because the assignments of Allison Transmission D40LF buses there at the time were 1930-1980(even numbers). The previous 1900's were all odd numbered at NP (1901-1925) Quote

I remember seeing it on #80 once or twice and it had the steel wheels found on the 5300's rather than the Alcoa rims on the rest of the 6000's. I don't know if a pic of this exists in anyone's collection out there or on the internet(flickr, snapfish, etc...). I believe it later did get the Alcoas, although by that time, FG had higher 6000's as well as some 6100's and 6032 and lower went to another garage(103rd maybe?). FG I believe had 6050 or 6060-6189 later? Quote
