BusHunter
#1363 has been released to the #73. That was a Kedzie bus. Is Chicago short? With these old novas, possibly.#1761 is also on the #53, a NP bus. Highly suspected of being rehabbed. #1987 has been out too both yesterday and today and probably needs to be checked too. BusHunter
Here's some photos of some lost buses on the #53. (new rehabs) #1761 and #1341, you can just make out the 41 on it. It was a ghost bus though.
BusHunter
It wasn't, TripleTransit1. If I recall the story correctly, the bus smashed into a house/apartment building, caving in the front right potion and requiring a turn-key overhaul to rebuild the bus. Not only was there cosmetic damage on the outside, but frame damage as well. The bus would've needed a brand new front right panel to keep servicing us.Here's some info on what happened to #1482. It was reported to have it's drivers side front area completely sliced off. There was a googlemaps shot of this floating around on here. The bus went up for bid for a complete restoration and disappeared 2 years ago.
BusHunter
There's more new rehabbed buses from other garages at Chicago. #1354 is on the #66 and #1682 is on the #74. Looks like they are trying to eliminate the Chicago Novas. If so, it might be a real possibility that FG will get the #8100's.
BusHunter
#1354, #1363 and #1987 were all rehabbed today. I got some shots of all of those and a few other recent rehabs.#1341:#1987:#1363:#1354:#1256:
BusHunter
#1013 is on the #66 from NP. Probably a new rehabbed bus. So they are definitely working on getting rid of the Chicago #6400's. But so far they don't seem to be going to the Glen. Probably the #6400's should just retire, I'm surprised FG is hanging on to #6460. The shocks are bad on that bus and it looks like it rides low. If anything they'll probably get the #6800's from Chicago. Chicago probably doesn't need old buses going into the summer but I'm surprised FG is still stuck in the 2000's. Looks like it will come down to them having all the old buses and nothing else. The #8100's can't come fast enough.
BusHunter
#1816 on the #73, #1355 on the #52 and #1013 on the #66 are all rehabbed.

Or the Senator was sitting in what looked like a bus, but was no where near complete. So far, there hasn't been any indication with regard to the first 200 buses that CTA was late in payment. A payment search for this year shows a bunch of $251,000 payments for bus driveable on the factory floor on Apr. 30 and May 29, so something is being produced and paid. There are several $150,000 for released for shipment, but less compared to the $251,000, so one can infer that a number are between those two milestones.http://vcsearch.transitchicago.com/paymentResults.php?S_VENDOR_NAME=Prevost&S_AMOUNT_PAID=0&selMonthTSCalendar1=01&selYearTSCalendar1=2015&selMonthTSCalendar2=12&selYearTSCalendar2=2015&Search=Search
BusHunter
There's really no rush from Novabus' perspective because they delivered 200 buses which is what they were supposed to do in the first and second quarter. The last 100 have to be here by the end of the year but I think we'll see them by July 4th. They would probably want to please the customer by delivering early because they have this option to sell and it doesn't look good for the company to be late on the last shipment. So probably by 4th quarter all 300 will be here. Then either CTA announces an option was exercised or we hear it from the budget proposal. If we don't hear nothing by then, then they probably won't exercise it. But they probably have a few #1000's to spare to send to FG if they don't exercise it. Kedzie doesn't need 300 buses and the count at NP and Chicago is inflated. That's one reason why we don't see many unrehabbed buses with 150 to go. They got about a good 100 buses that are extra. (if you don't count the mechanically rehabbed ones which are still running.)

garmon757
My non-rehabbed list is up to date. Sorry for the delay. I've been tired and going through a lot as of lately. I haven't been to the shop on foot in a while to check on possible rehabs and finished rehabs. I'll try to go there tomorrow or Monday. BusHunter
Now we both know that you'll going to find them anyway! Yeah got 2 out of 3. #1767 is rehabbed on the #50 #1663 the exterior is rehabbed but I couldn't tell if it was mechanically rehabbed or not. It had the old interior lights. most of my afternoon was spent chasing down ghost bus #1682 on the #53 and #1842 finally showed up after 3 weeks on the #53. Both are rehabbed but you probably already knew about #1842. I'll upload pics later on. Edited June 9, 2015 by BusHunter
