Just saw one of the presumably highway buses on 208. Did not catch the number, but it had flush windows and no wrap. Bus Tracker isn't showing much of anything.

Presumably highway bus?  Does that refer to an Eldorado Suburban normally uses on the 600 abd sometimes the 606?  Or are you referring to an MCI motorcoach similar to a 6900 series?

I didn't say motor coach, but the reason I didn't say suburban is that Pace is Suburban. I was referring to one of the buses mentioned above, but the tracker is still too lightly populated for me to get a fleet number.

That bus's history doesn't seem that unusual, but it seems like the tracker, generally, doesn't work that well in rainy weather, as there were very few buses on the tracker for 208 and 250 at that moment.

6504 has history for the afternoon of 12/29. but not the morning.

Looks like 2655, 2656, 2657 have moved form North Shore to River.

2729 appears to be tracking at FV yesterday!

I had wondered if 2627 finally bit the dust, but it was out there a couple of days ago so to early to tell if 2729 replaced it or another 2600.  2655-2657 must have replaced the older 2700s at R.

My guess is River needed extra buses because of the ones they lost to East Dundee. North shore had rarely been using their 2600’s so it made sense to give 2655-2657 to River.

I thought 2729 was at MV Batavia before suddenly reappearing at Fox Valley.

River’s active fleet recently was 2651-2654, 2658-2659(2659 has been OOS since July), 2674, 2696, 2702 2707 2710 2714 2716 2725 and 2739.

Apart from 2659, the only buses listed above that did not run since October was 2702(10/31) and 2707(8/31). The redt of their older 40 footers have operated this week.
