cta5750 said last weekend #1756 was being delivered. #1755 is the highest bus in service. It was on the #9 Ashland yesterday. It had the byk rac advertizing. If I were to assume what came with #1756 I would say into the mid #1760's. They should be in service anytime from today to early next week. I'll let you know when I see one. :)

Here is #1763 in service on the OHare shuttle, I took this one hour ago at Rosemont. Didnt have time to focus because too many people around.

That goes back about 2 or 3 years, when CTA said there was problems with the rear doors, frame at the articulation, etc. rmadison suggested that as the DE60LFs are received, they were not to replace the NABIs, but would allow for them to get work.

Thanks Busjack! :D

I hope attention is paid to the seat mountings in the artic joint area.

That area is very noisy when traveling bumpy roads at speed (like Lake Shore Drive).

In service yet, or what is the context? An indication that NP has started getting some?

The pic was taken at a very busy Rosemont Station. Lots of buses from FG (Novas) and NP (NF)operating the OHare Blue Line shuttle. I guess NP getting some more NF buses.

The North Park, 103 is the same as it was before. I saw 1762 running on the 29 yesterday, and have seen some odd New Flyers running shuttles out of Rosemont with NP run numbers.

As part of the recent bus shuffle, it appears that Chicago ave was involved in moving buses to North Park. I saw a 1400 running a shuttle at Rosemont Tuesday night and then 1403 on the 151 yesterday at Michigan and Randolph. There are also some 1330 (specifically 1337 and 1332) series buses running on the same.

Already noticed the shuffle.

OT here:

Spotted #1323 yesterday afternoon working #11 Lincoln NB.

I already noticed the shuffle about 3 days ago.

77th (1300s), Chicago (1400s), and Kedzie (1700s) were involved in the shuffle. The shuffle actually occurred sometime during the Fourth of July weekend, according to observations during that weekend, to supplement service during the Taste. The timing of it was right to keep the affected buses up there for the three week shuttle service.

Heres another new arrival, this pic was taken one hour ago. I spotted New Flyer #1769 EB on Foster at Pulaski. I passed it up and caught another shot arrivng at NP. You can see no plates on it and it had a sign taped to the front door from the factory, plastic wrapping was on the front end. It seems to me the new arrivals are coming off the Kennedy at Austin and turning at Foster ave. I traveled west on Foster to see if any more arrived but none were spotted. By the way this pic was posted at 1:15pm today, not 10:14 like the post states.

Nice pics! They look awesome. Anyway, you haven't seen buses #1770 and up, right?

Cool. In the first picture, was that another possible new arrival a little further up ahead of 1769?

Great shots! Until now, I hadn't realized that new arrivals were dispatched directly to the assigned garages instead of the South Shops.

No the bus up ahead was #1317, possibly a Blue Line/Rosemont pullin.

I remember when the Novas arrived in 2001, FG would get theirs from the factory, of course after all those unauthorized detours through Detroit Mich. I remember #6801 arriving still with plastic wrapping and no farebox. The buses arrive straight from the factory to their assigned garages unless otherwise.

I just saw CTA NF bus #1771 northbound on Dearborn north of Adams about 3 minutes ago.

I can't tell you what route (since I looked out the 33rd floor window) but it is likely a North Park (#22?) or a 77th (#24?) bus.

Gene King

NP is taking the odds again so it was probably a 22 or 36 bus today if it was in service.
