Yeah, #1760 will most likely return similar to that of #1321 but the other buses are showing there age and are consistently having issues.

Oh cool but the only reason I was thinking of 1760 was how long it was there but just like 1321 it probably will return to service since we thought 1321 was retired but then it suddenly returned to service.  The other buses wow

Yeah as far as the other buses are concerned a majority of them on that list are from my garage and 74th so I've had my in depth pov of operating those buses, the last two weekend I've had #1295,#1297,#1300 and #1330. All except #1330 which did die on me had slow transmissions, those three buses were as slow and rough as the #4000's we have here.

1330 is a fast bus I rode that in 2019 and that was also a quarantined bus. Driver was going fast it was a green line shuttle. The others I didn’t ride but wow

Add #1202 on the radar that one decided to pass out when it broke down on 92nd and State.

1598 has the left mirror of a TMC RTS and when I saw that it got me wondering, how many of the 1000s were rebuilt with parts from the 4400s? I know that they used a lot of the same parts but the CTA just scrapped most of the 4400s instead of keeping them around for parts right? So how many 1000s got rebuilt with parts from the 4400s?

Why are they being rebuilt with parts from the #4400s?

None, the mirrors although they look similar in design were made by different manufacturers.

Wtf why are cta buses in Baltimore?

Are they sure they are cta? I feel like cta uses so many that they are looked at as a cta bus lmao. Wouldn’t there have been a press release? Why send the buses that are working vs sending novas

Didn't MTA Maryland get some D40LF's off a piggyback order on CTA's? I know that's how they got the D60LF's. MTA Maryland retired their shoeboxes, so many Johns Hopkins bought them?
