it has been confirmed the 7000’s have completed testing yesterday they have moved forward to full production

Since we are in the Holiday Season, I don't expect a lot of deliveries or production.   I would imagine things will ramp up in the New Year provided there isn't a COVID  surge.

BTW, where is @BusHunter?

Does that include the ones already delivered?

Yes that should include the ones already here, the number of cars that are in service has also been updated to 26 cars, that’s enough for 3 8-car sets for 24 cars, the CTA can start running them now and passed AM periods if they’re done with testing them, 6 more cars and it’ll be at least 32 cars enough for 4 8-car sets.

do anyone have any  new photos of the  7000 series. And What is the next line the 7000 series going to be assign to, is it the orange line

It will be a good while for the 7000s to fill the Blueine so I wouldn't look for another line to get them until late 2024 or early 2025.  The Orange Line is the most likely candidate along with the Brown Line.  Obviously that's not etched in stone.

Saw another 7000 on a flatcar recently delivered while riding a yellow line train not sure of the exact number.

It’ll be a good idea to assign them to Brown and Orange first before the Blue.

Might be a good idea,  but CTA is apparently committed to assigning the first 400 cars of the 7000 series to the Blue Line.

Eh, they're going to run them into the sand on the Congress branch lol.

Do anyone knows if the 7000 series run on Saturday and Sunday on the blue line

From what I heard they are most likely done with testing so they could be running fully now despite new deliveries.
