Yeah, we know that but the bigger elephant in the room is where will CTA decide to send those first 100 buses, when the first #7900's started rolling in between 2014-2015 77th and 74th received the first 200 after the #1000's rehabs were all but complete, then after the massive bus swaps the remaining #6400's were sent further north to Chicago and FG. FG eventually had the majority until the #8200's started rolling in around 2016.

As always FG nog gone get new buses till the last order comes in in about 5-6 years

Yeah looking closely at the damage on it now on ABC7 yeah the driver's seat is broken and the driver panel is damaged. Yes it's 100% retired.

Must've been the led screen overhead that started the fire. But what a surprise, the place you would least expect there to be a fire.

Dang. I was thinking it was from the driver controls but how high the burn marks went you could be right or it could be the LED sign outside getting into the inside sign.

Well we’ll see cuz we’re not sure yet. This wasn’t a big fire either.  it’s still sad anyway  ?

I'm calling it retired they retired 6458 because the axle on it broke & that bus was still in goid shape but 6860 it meet its faith
