Sam92
4058 is on the 151 Sheridan today, looking just like new. Must be that one trip that 103rd does on that route. Hope they didn't move that one to Kedzie

Yes it's been at Kedzie for close to a week now based on my sightings of it on 145, 148 and 151 starting last week. Sorry Sam. Looks like they finished the repairs on it since that winter crash into a tree to move it over to Kedzie.

Looks like they finished the repairs on it since that winter crash into a tree to move it over to Kedzie. No biggie. It's just doesn't make sense how they say we're supposed to have 53 to start BRT for Jeffery but then the closer we get to starting, we lose instead of gain. Confusing but then maybe they might be setting up for a bigger switch.

RJL6000
1045 is in service on the 144 today during this afternoon's PM rush period. That is a loaner from Chicago to NP (because the NP driver that was supposed to cover that run called off sick). So, instead of NP sending another driver, they called another garage (which turned out to be Chicago Garage) to send an available driver to cover that run. jruff23
Today while riding Route #72 North Ave. i boarded New Flyer 1974. This is odd because i thought Chicago had 1985-2029. The bus had a P Garage sticker in the window and the run number was 5714.

The bus had a P Garage sticker in the window and the run number was 5714. Read my updated list of 1000s. Buses 1974, 1976 and 1978-1980 are now Chicago Garage buses (in addition to the 1981-2029 group already at Chicago Garage). In exchange, Chicago sent buses 1318-1322 to NP. NP still has buses 1964, 1966, 1968, 1970 and 1972. Buses 1965, 1967, 1969, 1971, 1973, 1975 and 1977 are still 77th Garage buses (at least for the time being). Well at least they got that run covered instead of cancelling it like was reported recently in the newspaper as becoming a bigger problem lately during the weekends. RJL6000
1970 is back at North Park. Actually, 1970 has been at North Park. It was buses 1974, 1976, 1978, 1979 and 1980 they lost to Chicago. In return, North Park (as I stated over and over) received buses 1318, 1319, 1320, 1321 and 1322 from Chicago. jajuan
i think that was a fill in run Another explanation along with 5658's valid one could be possible extra service in light of Christmas fast approaching and a lot more people being downtown for shopping, sightseeing and the like. Any moves would and should have been held for this past weekend given new bus schedules went into effect Sunday with the change to the winter pick. A few other things I noticed this week is that the 125's I see before leaving work are now mostly 40 footers in the evening instead of all artics along with Kedzie sending 4058 back down here (103rd). I noticed 40 footers on the 125 as well but took it as it being me passing what 40 footers were in service on the route along with artics rather than service being flipped back running with 40 foot buses instead of artics. Sam92
is this a sign that 103rd's 1500's are starting to go to 74th? Either that or the little loaning triangle that goes on between 74th, 77th and 103rd from time to time
