Not where I saw it, but ABC7 posted that a speeding car hit the 53 bus at 26th, and the bus appears to have taken out a building, and the driver, a passenger and 2 in the car were injured. So saying it will be on LTH is a vast understatement.

The accident actually occurred at 26th and Pulaski.   Cermak is the current detour around the accident.  Also the 18 year old that allegedly caused the crash has passed away.

Seen 8594 being towed to the boneyard this am just found out it slammed into a building seen it a lil after 9 this am

Buswatch says 8689 was involved in an accident on July 26th. No media has been posted online as far as I know, how bad was the crash if anyone knows?

8104 was involved in an accident on the 126 on July 7th and here's photos of 8104's damage

How K gone tear up a bus we loaned them we want our buses back now lmfao but I just seen 1200 not too long ago also & man look at 6043 back there still I still lowkey wanna buy it & fix it up when life stop lifying  for me

I guess they just want to use it as a parts bus now because it’s missing parts

i rode 1200 last month I was like what happened to 1200 for it to be taped off?

1200 has since returned to service.

8104 is still in the same spot on the Perry side of the boneyard as of today.

1588, 1331, and 1427 also remain on the Perry side with their accidents.

8050 has been involved in an big accident on the #59 earlier tonight while going down State St. 14 people were injured in this accident.

Speeding car being followed by police hit a car at 60th and State,  killing the driver of that car.  Speeding car then hit the CTA bus injuring 10 including the bus driver.   The Speeding car was stolen  and the 3 suspects arrested.

Well that's a wrap on #1423 potentially. A wrong way driver in a Jeep Cherokee hit #1423 and sent it into the L structure at Van Buren and Dearborn.

First it was 1427 now it’s 1423…that’s definitely a goner based on the pictures even the glass on the drivers shield broke on this accident just like 1588, well thank you for your 17 years of serving Chicago 1423 

i actually rode 1423 on Saturday and I wasn’t expecting it to be my last ride on it but it was….hoping everyone’s okay.

#8237 was involved in a major accident last night 2 blocks away from Forest Glen Garage, bus sustained major damage to the front end most likely retiring it and it will be put on legal hold/LTH since someone died in this crash.

Just weeks after being sent to 103rd from Kedzie, 4064 was involved in an accident this morning on the J14 involving injuries.

I haven't seen any reporting of a death; all news outlet say the bus driver had a cut to the forehead but no other injuries.

it’s been said that night by witnesses the driver of the tesla died, that has since been updated info that he ran away, bus driver went to the hospital with a face laceration
