One thing I think we missed (or at least I missed) is the temporary reroute of the 6 via Columbus, Randolph & Stetson is also shown on the map

I don't think that reroute is temporary.   Baxk in the day, the route was South Water (now Wacker Place), Wabash, and Wacker Drive.  Wacker Pl isn't really too narrow to stage buses. If the intent was to use the end of Upper Wacker for a turnaround, the new high rise at the end of Wacker eliminated that option    Keep in mind that residents will complain about exhaust   i think this current routing works well and I actually think it's permanent.

I thought they moved it because of the construction taking place at the end of Wacker where the buses usually turned around. If this is the new routing, why not send the bus straight down Randolph and making a left onto State as opposed to coming all the way back up to Wacker?

I was on the CTA website looking at the newest version of the CTA map dated July 2024, and I see that the X4, X9 and X49 now have their own "X Route" category and are now being identified on the map and in other newer CTA documentation and communications by a hollow green box around the route number instead of the previous red that is still used for the other CTA express routes. Also the upcoming extension of the 9 Ashland local buses is mentioned in the service change update box but isn't yet reflected on the map due to not being effective at the time of map publication.
