605 dont surprise me by being in the boneyard already the reason why they took years to come into service when I talked to a garage worker the day the 6400's was pulked & moved to other garages was cuz they keep having issues & the company had to send somebody out on a reg to update software & other things

So software and other possible issues are the issue with the #600s.

Oh ok. I remember seeing 6737 for the final time in September and I didn’t see that bus too much honestly. 6736 same thing and I thought both of those were retired in 2018 because I never saw those buses in 2017

I've seen them after I got a pic buried un my phone of 36 & 37 on the streets

ik I am saying that because he didn't have it on his list.

The buses he mentioned are the buses that moved to FG in March and April to replace the gap when the nova's were pulled, and 1598 isn't on the list since 1589, 1594, 1597-1599 came to FG to meet with 1590-1593, 1595, and 1596 last year.

It's okay, btw 1584 to 588 were the 15xx that moved to FG to replace the novas.

Now, buses still needing the stickers based on the list above are 1052, 1354, 1362, 1553, 1554, 1556, 1584, 1586, 1587, 1602, and 1933.

CTA is the only TA I've seen that uses stickers to identify which garage the bus belongs to.  Perhaps there are some other TA's that do,, but I've yet to see one in my limited travels

I don't know know how often other TAs shift buses between garages or how they track Garage assignments.   This seems easy for CTA and Pace (which doesn't use stickers) because generally buses are assigned in blocks and numbered in series.

I can attest the same. I always thought that was the point of run numbers, with the first letter or number corresponding to a particular garage (Baltimore does 1-4, WMATA & CTA have letters, etc)

Ok, as I saw 1354 two weeks ago with P, glad they changed it.

I thought NYCT had logos for each garage, but I can't remember if they put them on the buses.

I learned NY puts garage stickers in a special area on the right side of the bus.

What would happen if a bus was loaned or reassigned to another garage?

They would put a new sticker above the old sticker for the garage

What is the "special area?"
