Only error i see is the artic bus drawn is one of the diesel only NABI buses cta had in the 2000s they had that would break in half, the correct model would be this series https://chicagobus.org/buses/4000-de60lf/photos On 7/8/2020 at 2:59 PM, andrethebusman said: 2nd row last one (ACF) should be cream and red. Only blue ones were Fords 4301-4309 that were delivered in ODT gray and painted before entering service to resemble the prewar PCCs. All other pre 1945 buses were red. After that mercury green, cream and swamp holly orange until 1950, then the cream and green we all remeber. Thanks! I appreciate your feedback! YoungBusLover
So here's a list of the current series of buses and where they sit in the boneyard. It took roughly an hour to take all the bus numbers down but here we are. Note #600 is the confirmed number series for the proterras for now, it may change but for now they are numbered #600 and up. #6400's Boneyard (Retired) list as of 7/27/20 #6401,#6406,#6408,#6418,#6425,#6432,#6435,#6446,#6453,#6456,#6460,#6468,#6473,#6497,#6500,#6502,#6516,#6530,#6537,#6554,#6559,#6564,#6573,#6574,#6576,#6577,#6584,#6614,#6621,#6628,#6639,#6642,#6674,#6680,#6692(LTH),#6699(LTH),#6702,#6704,#6711,#6715,#6737(LTH),#6742,#6748,#6778,#6782,#6804,#6806,#6819,#6824,#6826 (LTH),#6832(Accident/Legal hold),#6841,#6842,#6844,#6845,#6863,#6865,#6866,#6868(LTH). #4000's Boneyard Defunct list as of 7/27/20 #4003,#4006,#4010,#4014,#4017,#4018,#4019,#4020,#4023,#4026,#4027,#4033,#4037,#4049,#4052(?),#4062,#4065,#4068,#4105,#4107,#4108,#4109,#4121,#4134,#4154,#4167 (Retired),#4174 (?),#4177,#4200,#4207 #4300's Boneyard Defunct list as of 7/27/20 #4308,#4320,#4323(Retired),#4332,#4341,#4344,#4357 #1000's Boneyard Defunct list as of 7/27/20 #1016 (LTH),#1125 (Accident/Legal hold),#1245 (LTH), #1305 (Retired)-Fire,#1552(?),#1716 (towed back to boneyard as of 7/26/20) (#1821(Accident/Legal hold), #1883(Accident/Legal hold) ,#1925 (Accident/Legal hold),#1993(Retired)-Fire #7900's Boneyard Defunct list as of 7/27/20 #7923 (?)(Accident/Legal hold),#7959,#8023(Accident/Legal hold),#8150,#8178,#8229(Accident/Legal hold) #600's Boneyard Defunct list as of 7/27/20 #600 Proterra Pilot (LTH)
YoungBusLover
I was surprised to see #600 back there along with #1125. @BusHunter #1257 was the bus number for the fishbowl you were asking about a few weeks back.

It's been missing and I wonder what happened to it. You know if you go to the RTA equipment page (here's the link below) and you click CTA equipment they claim there are only 97 #4300's. So if you subtract #4323 and #4333 what's the 3rd one? It would seem to be a hybrid. I'm starting to wonder about #4332. Did it show any signs of it possibly being retired. I could be wrong, once #4327 was oos, don't know if it ever came back or not. The #600 at least has license plates, but it's been around just not in service. Somewhere along the line they'll need to wrap it, but it's probably just there for the mechanics to learn from. RTAMS rolling stock fleet list: http://www.rtams.org/rtams/rollingStockForServiceBoardAndMode.jsp?sbID=2&mode=MB I did what I would consider a thorough walk through and from the looks of things all the artics still have there fareboxes and ventra readers but they've been there up to nearly a year now. Some have been recently added but for the most part a majority have been sitting defunct. Now in regards to #4327 it may be getting worked on in the main rehab facility at south shops because I have seen quite a few artics in there as of late. #4332 has been sitting there for quite a while now and as i've stated before this batch of artics has not moved since being placed back there several months ago dating back to last fall, #4332 still has its farebox and ventra card reader though. Now if i'm not mistaken when a bus is finally retired the farebox, ventra card readers, electrical components and all fluids are drained before it is placed back there. #4080 could possibly be at southshops as well. During my next work day i'll head on down towards the south fence and compile a list from it unless someone else wants to.

The damage on it is fresh so whatever did happen with most likely will keep it sidelined for a while. #1016 is on LTH because of two possible things, the back log of buses that yet to be serviced but also something else that is unknown.
