Another one on Damen at Washington into building today? 8594 which got wrecked in july of 2024 8499 wasn’t wrecked but looks like it’s retired sitting on the 79th fence after allegedly being involved in an accident on 12/1/2024 8572 got wrecked in January of 2025 8660 got burnt in February of 2025 8640 was involved in a minor accident on April 7th and hasn’t been seen since 8494 has been at South shops for about three months apparently 8396 got in a crash last month 8917 got rear ended last weekend now it is 8792 wrecked 1 Quote

South fence is officially a dead lot and appears to not be what it used to be. There are retired flyers making up 2/3s of it Quote

I could see a garage trading away like 40-50 8350s for about 40-50 of 74ths 7900s within the next two picks. Quote

I don't know if the lack of a rear window makes any difference. I also don't know if the 7900s have the collision avoidance system. The 7900s are just plain garbage cans Quote

The 8350s don't have the interior lights that span across the ceiling but they have the information screens. They als6 have the "doors open" and "doors closing" announcements at the rear doors. There are some chime buttons on some of the standard poles as well. 1 Quote

YoungBusLover Posted May 31 Report Posted May 31 The real differences between the last three orders of LFS models is simply engine, transmissions, braking systems and suspension components. #7900s having the worst braking systems compared to the other two series if we're being honest. The #7900s also have the worst A/C compared to the other two series it's like a sauna in there at times now some nova's recently at 77th have gotten tinted windows such as #7912 but even then I haven't noticed much of a difference. The only thing the #7900s are good for is the instant take off when accelerating where as the #8325s and #8350s have a slow disengage from the station brake when accelerating, it's almost like a lag on acceleration if that makes sense. It's more noticeable on the #8350s from what I've experienced operating them. All the other miscellaneous stuff mentioned is just eye candy for the passengers to distinguish but even then they wouldn't care because to them. "A bus is a bus." The one major drawback with all three series is the overhead compartment (Overhead Console) is so fragile that over time it will crack, rust and bend due to the amount of stress that gets put on it over the course of it's service life. I never got the chance to drive thiose Novas, but I can tell that they have the best turn radius. Quote
