More Bus Moves

So with these temporary loans that may become permanent I'll go out on a limb here and assume that since FG hasn't received any buses in return from K that maybe just maybe there will be some movement with some #8350s. However, that lone sighting of #1705 going to 103rd makes me pump the breaks a little bit on that assumption.

It's actually 1000-1010 that went from FG to K. The possible exceptions are 1002 and 1008, which weren't out this morning, and 1004 which hasn't been in service since the 14th.

This raises speculation that FG will receive the bulk of the first order of 8350s.

I’ll say in 2-3 more weeks we should already have the #8350’s prepped for service since we only have 63 buses at SS with 37 more buses to go. FG and 103rd should most definitely do the 50/50 even split when they are all delivered.

these all temp loans….half of K’s fleet is down for maintenance that’s what they get for keeping the 1600’s and 1700’s for so long

Yeah ever since the #1600’s came in between 2007 and 2008 14-15 years prior Kedzie has had them their entire life especially #1630-1700+ range

Real quick bro what that has to do with anything buses break down just like C had 1979-2029 just about its entire life

well since like 50% of K’s flyers are down for maintenance they need buses…….so they got loans from garages (NP and FG)

More like 10-15% in regards to the #1000s and #4000s are OOS from K because if it we're over half then the #6700s they have would of been activated by now instead of #1000-#1010 getting loaned to them. Plus As I stated earlier why would K send over #1705 to 103rd if they're short buses?

Just saying sometimes garages need to help another garage out like how they needed to help FG when NP had their moment garages needed to help NP the list goes on sometimes a garage might have alot of buses that start breaking can blame it cause they kept buses for so long if so then why did C kept 1979-2029 their entire life since brand new why NP & 3 kept the 4300's since brand new

NP only has 4325 now rest is at 103rd and they got back 4334-4340 from 103rd couple years ago

I'm just saying these 2 then basically had the same buses their entire life

1200s were at 77th most of their lives, too.s

Not sure of the significance, other than that CTA unwound the odd/even between NP and 103, got 1000-1110 out of A to C and those and the 1300s out of C, and finally got more than 30 at 74th, and the previously discussed mileage and maintenance differences between garages. For all the talk about 77th being favored, it kept its 1200s and 6400s.
