Considering that 77th has 92 7900s, those 8 would bring 77th to 100 Novas.  Perhaps CTA still will try to make 103rd 40 ft buses all Nova and try to keep North Park all New Flyer.   That means there will probably be another all Nova garage  which could be 74th or C.

Hopefully that's the case, I'd hate to lose #1000s early on during this delivery phase. I still hope the elderly #7900s get shipped somewhere in the next year or so because it's long overdue for them being at 77th this long. They've accumulated a lot of mileage more so than the rest of the #8000 - #8299 range.

I agree with you on the C & 6 point but at some point NP will have to get something newer that isn't NF related hopefully its not 77th's #7900s though.

Updated to the most current status as of tonight. The numbers have really evened out now. However, I will soon makes list of what is currently active as far as the #1000s are concerned. As always correct me on any discrepancies that you all may have.

I wonder what the big deal was that one 800 was among the 101 buses recently sold to the scrapper, when there are 10 still around, which haven't been used in ages.

I have no idea but all 10 have been stripped of parts over the years. I hardly recognize #905 it's been stripped to the bone of everything practically.

I find it shocking that most of the 6400s that retired in 2014 doesn’t seem to be stripped almost to bare bones compared to #905. Im sure #801 is either scrapped, hidden elsewhere or has been sold to someone else, it hasn’t been around CTA since 2016 I forgot about that. I’m not sure if #6539 and #6728 are scrapped those may went to a private owner as well since they’re no longer at fresh moves.

#6539/#6728 are at Olive Harvey last time I was over there a few months ago.
