jajuan
I think I just saw #1271 heading up Kedzie ave at Belmont out of service heading to np. Hmm NP seems to be grabbing more 1000s from either FG or 77th.In the More Bus Moves thread, pete6125 mentioned seeing 1301 on the 36 Broadway last night. wordguy
Actually, 1271 and 1272 are/were based at 103rd. They were reassigned there during the Red Line-related shuffle last May. Before then, they had been at FG along with 1273-74 which migrated to 77th.

BusHunter
Ok I updated the roster with the latest info off the roster. A couple things to note, no Novas or Opus' have been retired or placed on long term hold. #1468 went to long term hold. (I believe this was the bus involved in the 20 cars accident at Kedzie/Diversey where the driver passed out. (story on my youtube channel) #4170 reportedly has gone to 103rd, I didn't change that on the roster so anyone let me know if you see it there. Else no changes just a bus here and there we missed on the roster. I moved a few buses not yet reflected on the roster. i myself saw #4054 on the #152, so it's at Np and I'll put #1301-02 at Np too. I think it's too early to say whether #1271 is at NP or not.

Ill check all of 103rd's routes for it but if its true then the 4000's are starting to lose organization as far as assignments go even with the fact that the 4300's are here. I can understand that 4080-4105 being wrapped throws the sequence off seeing that they're only for Jeffery Jump service (well supposed to be LOL! Maybe they should've wrapped 4058-4084 to stay numerical if they were shedding artics to NP to make room for the 4300s). but that makes the roster look a bit all over the place now. BusHunter
1466 is in service, saw it on the 132 on Friday evening. Well then I must be right. (sort of) There must have been a second accident there. If #1468 is in service, which the roster says no, then I am wrong.

I saw #1282 on the #12 Roosevelt @ Californina going westbound this morning. CTA scatters these buses all around. All long as we keep a roster we know what's going on. @Sam92: #4170 may be a test to test the effectiveness of longitudinal bus service on the south side. I have seen crazy things before on the roster, so I don't know if I entirely believe it. Maybe our 103rd operators on here can elaborate if it's there or not but I haven't seen it anywhere. Hopefully the fleet will be stable when the Novas are retired while the new Novas arrives. The fleet hasn't been "stable" since about 1977. Especially after CTA shrunk it in 2010, there has to be some effort to make sure that garages have what they need. Add into that efforts here and there to balance out mileage on the fleet (77th's seem to get overworked) and, of course, now some buses apparently out of service for rehabs.
