They've added quite a few new updates to the clever device which now allows operators to add "BUS IS FULL", "BUS MAY RUN EXPRESS" ,among other messages to be displayed to passengers, the only drawback is I'm not positive that very operator knows how to use the new additions yet. Also in regards to the passenger that got passed up on the J14 that operator may of had a full load before he got down to the south side of the route or they may of been doing drop offs only up until they got under 15 passengers. Dont shoot the messenger but quite a few operators have taken advantage of abusing every tool the authority has given them.

I don’t think that was me, but I’m a regular  J14 rider and I’ve discovered I’ve pretty much only have good or bad drivers, no in between. Fortunately, it’s been 90% good but every so often I get those “skipped on 5 passengers” or “refuse to move around a car that obviously won’t move” drivers ??‍♂️

I was talking to my Aunt and she said that the signs "Bus is Full" or "Bus may run express" sometimes get left over from former runs or the driver doesn't change it after they release passengers. I have also seen busses with two people say bus may run express and that might be a reason.

#4113 currently being used as a police transport, saw it turn left on 75th @ Jeffery. Escorted by two police cars. Didn’t know this type of arrangement existed. Police need to have their own transport for these situations

It's sad that they're doing that again versus filling runs. Its sucks to because it's taken over an hour for me to get home tonight and to add insult to injury there was a convoy of buses heading eastbound on 79th after nearly 30+ minutes of waiting, I figured I might as well take the red line then since there's no buses running northbound cottage for another 30 minutes so once I get to 63rd I has to wait another 30 minutes for a bus going east. As soon as I get on the bus (#1469) at 63rd & Wentworth almost all the passengers told me not to sit in the back and the reason being someone either threw up back there or took a dump. When I say it was all over the seats in the back it was everywhere. I forget the code but isn't 10-25 code for dirty bus? If so I wonder why this operator didnt call it in.

That bus should be taken out of service.   That is definitely a health hazard.  I can see also that for some people, a crowded,  stinky bus is better than no bus at all.  What would you do after waiting 39 minutes for a bus  and when it comes, it is taken out of service?

If that bus would of been taken out of service at that point I would of walked from the dan/ryan over to cottage grove because that was around 8:30 PM last night. The operator had to known about it because the passengers surely wouldn't stop talking about it, for once my mask came in handy because the smell was horrible.??

& again today I had had a woman piss on my bus while I was doing the 12 she pissed all over the seat & the floor had to take my bus out of service

With these long intervals between buses and so many closed businesses,  or businesses that don't make their restrooms available to the public,  people can't hold it.  At least guys can find an alley ( at least for a #1).

Yeah I did and J45’s and Temsa 45 and 35 foot. Along with a few Prevost X with trailers.

Prevost H3s were my favorite to drive once I got used to the height.  I've driven MCI, Eagle, and Setra coaches.

My first was an MC-9 5 speed. I drove a Setra Demo but the company I worked for never added any into the fleet.

Y manuals i drove were MC9 4 and 5 speed.  I prefer the 4s.  Actually I prefer automatics.

Wasn't a big Setra fan.  Everything has a better turning radius than MCIs.  I hated the rear axle turning assist on the E and J models.  Most transit agencies including Pace use MCI coaches but give me a Prevost any day.

This happened sometime before I got on the 386 this morning in the back of the bus, I don’t think the driver noticed until someone said something when all the FedEx folks got off ?.

My god, 8334 has a less than optimal AC right now, I hope the bus driver takes it in when he gets to 103rd, the back of the bus might as well be an oven

None of the 7900s have optimal a/c.  That is a great reason to hope Nova doesn't win the next contract.   It's  crazy considering how great the a/c is on a 6409 series Nova .  Even the Pace NABI has better a/c (when it actually works).  On the 7900s, it is barely noticeable in the front and downright stuffy in the rear.

The other day,  4036 had fantastic air.

Based on you request,  all 7900s should come off the street.

The 7900's are basically the TMCs before there rehab with little to no a/c.
