Also 1496, 1606 and 1990 are 28 locals SB ans will be X28's NB to downtown. Not really surprised to discover this interline given the 145/148 interline. sw4400 Posted March 5, 2009 Report Share Posted March 5, 2009 Here's an interesting story about Bustracker... I was waiting for the #11 SB yesterday afternoon. I check the tracker and it says #1853 and #1571 were approaching at the folloing intervals... 5 min(#1853) and 18 min(#1571). Anyhow, I check the tracker a few minutes later and it says that 1853 is DUE. So I take my pass out and wait.... and wait.... and wait(no bus shows up). So I check the tracker again, and it shows #1571 coming in 15 min!!! #1853 just totally disappeared from the tracker and didn't even approach my stop!!! When I check about 10 min later, the tracker shows #1853 AGAIN about 5 min away and 1571 4 min away!!! Needless to say when #1853 was finally labeled DUE this time, it appeared and I took it. There also could have been unforeseen traffic congestion (especially on Lincoln). I saw 2002 at 71st and Jeffrey on either the 14 or 15 on Saturday (I didn't look at the destination...I was busy finding the number on the front as the train went across Jeffrey. Its low-floor section is mostly longitudinal seats. My camera was out of battery power, so I did not take a picture of it. I have pictures of bus #1984 on route #65 Grand. I'm waiting for the E-Mail certification from a prospective World-Wide Web host before I post those here. Update: bus #2012 spotted running on route #66 Chicago. Many a times I've seen this bus already jammed to the windshield before it reaches Diversey (mind you the route begins at Belmont!)
