Someone is getting alot of OT moving all these buses around!! That's why I called them loans. They were all of order, all at rush hour and seemed to be just for help. Look on the bright side FG at least still has #6408. Maybe when FG gets a NF they should run it around the garage for good luck like they did for the Cubs goat curse but it hasn't worked either. Days of cake on dirt like they just were pulling in, bypassing a wash down, and being sent right back on the road to attract more dirt. You could not see anything but soot and here 74th has spotless buses. Why they are not washing buses at Fg in the mid day I don't know. It's not that cold out. The sun actually felt good yesterday. FG is now getting #1000 loans, which CTA was not doing before, which means brass must be open to the idea of sending some #1000 buses there. Should be interesting this weekend. The #6600's are kind of messed up mechanically, #6629 was jumping through the gears like someone rigged something with the trans. Maybe FG has finally met there match. Yeah NP has indeed been running it's buses through the washer. That's why I've been scratching my head as to what's going on with FG in that department. The roads have been relatively dry and temps not so cold out to cause freezing issues. NP is an outside storage garage too. So FG should have been able to make some progress on bus washing as well. We shall see!!! Hopefully not. The Chicago area transit service boards are already chewing each other's ankles off over limited sources of funding as is. And all this is a major waste of money when transporting passengers isn't part of moving all these buses around. 4327 is back in service from Kedzie. It is on the 134 according to Busfinder. The northbound one between Diversey and Belmont just only just started this morning and another one a little farther up for southbound buses between Roscoe and Belmont started last night about 10 according to the CTA website.
