Which is why they are Loop only runs.  It's clear that the 400 runs ordination from Kimball and the 700s originate from Midway.   Rgisw are the Brownage runs providing supplemental service.

OK. Somehow, your first post confused me.

Since CTA flacks say that the growth in ridership is due to special events, it is not surprising that they added service.

I don’t want to just throw it out there but could this mean #5599 could make a comeback from the yellow line collision?🤷‍♂️

Since I threw out the question, I don't know, but I doubt it, since the front was crushed, and it probably is on litigation hold.

ok thanks, i think 55-56 are new to orange as i noticed they still have the dirty underbody from the congress branch

Just curious.   How would it be the Forest Park branch that would make the underbody dirty but not the O'Hare branch  ( that runs in the expressway median between Kimball and O'Hare)?

Obviously, he wasn't making that distinction, as the branches are part of one line. I presume he is comparing them to those on the Orange Line.

Due to the broken down roadbed that's been destroyed like the Ran Ryan Line was like until Rahm Emanuel had it shut down & the cruddy limestone ballast replaced with granite, which won't crumble from getting wet.  I'm sure the autos & trucks on the Ike dump tons of debris & diesel particulate matter into the roadbed.
