Oh has anyone else seen the 10s signed for the "griffin museum of Science & Industry"? Like, I knew they'd change it, but they did it pretty fast! I don't really know how fast I was expecting it to be, but they haven't changed it on the website yet!

I didn’t even know they changed the name of the museum. That’s good that the cta changed it fast so it’s updated. I haven’t seen it yet on the busses but that’s good they changed it fast.

They were pretty fast with the lake shore changes too on 146/147 even though those weren't really too necessary

Yea that is a good thing. Notebaert would be hard and Peggy can be spelled different ways so that would be hard.

Is the left hand sign thing for the people who have bad eyes. That’s what I heard but I’m not sure if it’s true.

CTA said that it is so that you can see the sign better from the curb. They also removed the route name from the signs on the side of the bus and only show the destination now.

I don’t really think it makes a difference. Also only the destination on the side I think is not smart.

A cta planning document popped up eBay has some interesting discussion regarding future specs for railcars (specifically the 3200s I think?). Talk about purchasing new singles for the yellow line and usage of flip-dot signs on the cars.

New updated bus stop sign for #50 Damen, with new transit points of interest added; the Ravenswood Metra station (despite it being a  1/4 mile distance east of Damen Avenue), and the Green Line (even though it’s not yet open). An error I see is that it states the Damen Blue Line [O’Hare] is ADA accessible, which it’s not… unless it’s being worked on to add ADA accessibility. 😅

Suspect arrested in fatal CTA shooting that wounded bus driver. Sounds like shoot-out at the OK Corral. Bunch beat up a lone passenger, who pulled out a gun and killed one of his attackers, and then the bunch pulled out guns, and one shot the bus driver. Appears that  the last has not been arrested.

I wonder why these youngsters keep provoking innocent people and not expect to have the same energy returned back towards them. It's unfortunate that the society we live in today has no respect for human life let alone respect for there elders. I bet they probably boarded around Roosevelt, didn't pay and was probably an issue long before they got down to 34th and State. I don't know what it will take for them to gain some common sense and morals because right now it is lacking big time.

And yet, the city is reaping what it sows now.....The fact that the newest buses in the fleet have the latest technology in regards to camera quality and yet the criminals themselves aren't phased by it.

Unfortunately these people have nothing to lose, they have no regard for their own lives. Those are the most dangerous types of people because when you have nothing to lose consequences are meaningless.

They are pronounced the same but have different meanings.  A synonym for PHASE might be stage. Also PHASED could signal a beginning ir end of a stage as in phasing out a bus or train series.  The word Fazed is to be affected or to give thought, care,  or concern to.  In the context given,  FAZED is the correct word.
