Nope. The Presentation says the existing fareboxes are 37 years old. The oldest buses are, like, 15.

The specs for buses just say that the manufacturer is just to provide the place to attach the farebox.

My guess is that this will be similar to the 1000s: the allocation will be of rhe half order and, subject to what CTA does with the electric buses, each garage will get about 45-50 buses. 77th thus is probably next.

My guess is that we probably have a few #8450’s built already.

I will have to say the next batch, judging by the moves of older #1000s getting moved to 74th as of late a major shift is coming right before the system pick and then winter pick.

Both, the winter pick will begin around mid December but the system pick will go into effect next year in January. We have yet to do either one but everyone is starting to fil out choice slips for the system pick.
