nflyer22
They will be in the 2000 range, don't worry. 2000 should be here some time this week or next. I think 4101 may be lurking around somewhere on the property, too. Pretty close to call, saw #1998 on 29 State this afternoon; the '03' decal is above the run box. andrethebusman
Can somebody answer a seat question? Where do the seats change from the older style (two together on a bench) to the later (individual seats on a common frame). Seems like right around 1300, but it seems that some lower numbers have newer style seats than higher ones. Andre
cta 5555
I think isnt it 1329? Also 1110 and 1000 have the new seat to.
santran
Most of the Chicago transfers to NP now have P's in the center of the windshield.
jajuan
1976 is on the 6 today. Isn't 77th supposed to have odds among the higher numbers and 103rd evens?
BusHunter
1976 is on the 6 today. Isn't 77th supposed to have odds among the higher numbers and 103rd evens? It's been at 77th all week. 103rd seems to have picked up the odds to go with the evens around #1983. I've seen #1983, #1985 on the #29. Also #1989 was on the #14 one day last week. Some might show up on the tracker today. Keep a look out.
greenstreet
Random notes: 1999 is at 103rd so the answer about the next number in the sequence should be evident soon. Look for an imminent announcement that the NABIs are being mothballed permanently No, I have no photographic proof (at least, none that I can provided to the skeptical)

Andre The seats change at #1304, with #1304 being the new seat design and #1303 being the old. There are also a few buses before that with the newer seating like #1291 and #1110. But another one #1258 only has the new seating on the 5 seats at the rear of the bus. Bus #1000 came with 8 seats of the newer variety originally in the gallery area of the bus, but has since had them all switched to the new seating design. These newer type seats are called Insight seats from American Seating.

I like that Bustracker also has bus alerts as of today. That's very helpful.

twyztdmynd
does any one know if we recieved the 2000s yet?and what are thier possible assignments? Just an idea... I don't think CTA will be using the 2000 numbers yet. CTA and Pace #'s mesh with each other, as you may see. Some 2000 numbers are still in use... if not at South Holland, Academy etc.... But its too early. A guess, I forsee 3000's
cta 5555
Why do u think that? Pace and CTA have 6000,6100,6200 and 6300s.

jajuan
does any one know if we recieved the 2000s yet?and what are thier possible assignments? Looking at how 103rd has both even and odds among the highest 1900s because of the 7500 sidelining, starting I believe some in the 1970s, the first few at least, if not all could get steered to that garage. Buses in the #1990's have had their dividers switched to the smaller one too. Now they match the #4080's and up. #4101 was out yesterday on the #135. #4096 has also made it's way to NP. Although you wouldn't know it by looking at Bustracker for some strange reason #4096 and up are not appearing yet on there.

No, I said in a previous post #1480 - #1529 were at 103rd. (When the great #1000 swap happened 2 or 3 weeks ago when Chicago got some #1800's and #1900's evens and Np received Chicago's #1429 - #1379 which since has been expanded to #1366 at NP.) I believe the reason NP is getting #4000's now in consecutive order is because their trying to get them back to 100 artics. 103rd doesn't seem to use that many artics (just for the #14 and maybe 6 or 7 for the #26 and a few here and there for school trips and such.) I believe that's why there getting the balance of #1000's to offset what they would've lost now they may have received all there artics so far. (up to #4149 barring a even/odd swap)
