YoungBusLover
10 hours ago, ajay said: Question,I havent see 6838 out in a while. Is that bus retired? I said this before in past topics, maintenance is the reason or along those lines of something else as to why you haven't seen #6838 in service. Also sometimes buses end up going ghost for days at a time on bus tracker so there can be several factors that play a role. Nothing much to worry about. However,if you decided to take a trip to either FG or South Shops boneyard to investigate any further be my guess.
Erin Mishkin Jr.
I have no idea when, but 6847 has recently came back after it hit the person in the south side earlier this year. I'm gonna check Math's and find out when 6847 came back. I thought it was gone, but it came back. Last year, Pace 6239 killed a biker and never came back. When I was on the #86 heading to school, I think bus number #6846 ran into a transmission problem which caused the bus to "skid" and wasn't able to run as fast. So the driver told the passengers to get off and transfer to another bus behind, which was #8300. Even yesterday, on the #76 the traction was not working too well on an snowy road and had to be out of service right before it reached Narragansett. That kinda sucks, doesn't it? YoungBusLover
#6846 was probably my favorite #6800 when it was at 74th a few years ago, pretty fast back then but for a 2002 LFS to still be kicking it that strong.

Erin Mishkin Jr.
Due to the new buses, some flip dots may not be seeking service anymore. All buses 6674 and under except for 6466 are most likely gone. It is kind of strange how the lowest numbered Nova is still operating, as 6468, 6470, 6473, 6474, 6477, 6488, 6553, 6554, 6558, 6562, 6564, 6574, 6576, 6577, 6579, 6581, 6585, 6671, and 6674 have all left service. If any come back, I or someone else will post it here, but the 19 buses are going to be put as OOS.
