ChicagoNova
FG still has 6719, 6783, and 6812 as they're on #85 right now. 6769 on #84. 6727, 6731, and 6762 on #92. 6802, 6767, 6713, 6750, 6716, & 6816 on #81; 6700 & 6722 on #81W. BusHunter
Ok guys roster updated. Rather than moving the #6800's and #6400's as a block, even though we do know where those two blocks should go, I'm going to move those one by one. This way we can see if something's retired. Putting all the rehabbed buses in a few spots might shake up the Nova population. Maybe they are trying to get a few more buses retired. I need to see if the lower #6400's are still at 74th as they might be gone. Seems like they are holding the #8000's as we still don't know where there going. I put the two Fg #1000's buses up for fun but those are probably loans but FG could use them even if they are unrehabbed!! An unrehabbed #1000 is better than nothing!!
Guest
Looks like 74th may have got all the ex #6800's that were at 77th. In it's place it sent FG #6600's. I think this does put Fg higher on the list because they now are getting close to having all the oldest buses. Just the Chicago #6500's and #6400's are older now. What do you mean??? They do have all the oldest buses!!! That garage has neither new or rehabbed equipment. Ill be leaving in a bit to go fuel our Flxible #6163. BusHunter
1201 is on 86 Narragansett Ridgeland Maybe CTA has seen the light!! I hope so. You know they could pass over 50-60 unrehabbed buses from Kedzie. Maybe Kedzie wouldn't be so burdened with rehabbing half the garage in a few months. Maybe that's the plan. I'd go for that. But what would Kedzie get? The #6700's??? That would be different.

Ill be leaving in a bit to go fuel our Flxible #6163. No they don't... well maybe. but they could have gave them the Chicago and 74th #6400's!! Then we can watch FG do the impossible. At least these #6600's look a lot nicer on the outside being indoors there whole life.. The #6800's are no prize either. But not having amber LED signs on over half the fleet does suck. It doesn't really matter too much anyway. Most of the Novas will be gone in a year. Should be 200 more coming in this year. What does that leave? Probably the amber novas. jajuan
#1045 is on #49 (#1317 may be possible being part of 74th). #1303 is on #62. #1796 is on #47. #1868 is on #9. #1869, #1872, #1876, #6835, and #6855 are on #67. #6603 is on #90. #6619 is on #85. Update: #1060 and #6860 are on #9. #1689 is on #36. #1898 is on #62. All 1900s remaining at 74th have been forfeited AGAIN for the second time in less than a month. Expect to see them at Chicago. That's the second time in about as many weeks that 1689 has moved. It was just at 74th as of the week before last. #1310, #6830, and #6865 are on #9. #6820, #6823, #6870, and #6873 are on #44. #1859 is on #47. #6880 is on #49. #6824 is on #55. #6600 and #6648 are on #56. #6848 and #6862 are on #63. #6852 is on #63W. #1171 is on #73 (Seriously???). #6649 and #6658 are on #76. #6652 is on #77. #6606 is on #78. #6674 is on #80. #6632 is on #81. #6630, #6636, and #1250 (HEY HEY HEY!!!!) are on #84!!! #6623 and #1201 (ANOTHER ONE!!!) are on #85!!! #6624 is on #92. #6860 is on #93 (Very odd!!!). #6840 is on #94. #6617 and #6634 are on #152. Wait what? NFs were on FG routes? Since it was only two sighted so far, I sadly have to agree with BusHunter's assessment that they may have only been loans with all this freaking shuffling of buses going on. IF the as of yet to be seen on the road 8000s Garmon photographed have any play in this you would think they would just wait until those buses were assigned like in prior times we saw a new model being delivered before starting another round of ridiculous bus shuffling. Compared to other bus deliveries, this one seems to be causing the most chaos in terms of unnecessary early swapping and unneeded deadheading. And it's no surprise that it coincides with Claypool being in charge of things at the main offices.

Busjack
But I think Claypool has the authorization to approve these moves. I really doubt that any "President" is micromanaging to this level. That's why there are Executive Vice Presidents, Garage Superintendents, and the like. One could argue that Claypool probably doesn't do anything for his $215K salary, as everything is "under the leadership of Mayor Rahm Emanuel," and he is either saying that he doesn't listen to anyone other than consultants, or sends out the flacks to explain stuff. But I guess that someone has to stand behind Fearless Leader at press events. Claypool wouldn't know the difference between a 1900 and a 4300 even if one hit him.

BusHunter
Between the #6600 transfers and #6800. If you figure Fg loses the 8 #6800's it has and 74th gives them a like amount of buses to get there roster back to 253. I'm counting 24 #6600's that are surplus. Possible retirement?? That's interesting #6685 is on the #62.
