But still they gotta think ahead for future orders and series as well and most of the numbers I bought up are assigned to relatively new series of equipment thats not going anywhere for a good while and the next series thats going to be retired after the rail cars are the 1000-series New Flyer D40LF which are 1030 buses meaning unless they are going to have multiple contracts/models replace this series, they need to keep a whole 1000 numbers open for that purpose and there aren't many options left with all the various numbers for the assigned to relatively new equipment thats still going to be here around that time. So I bought up the point of consolidation because maybe they are trying to keep 2000, 3000, 6000 and 9000 open for that plus the DE60LF models which are gonna hit retirement age around the time they get to retiring option 3 or 4 of the #1000 series. Is there a reason why you’re bringing up the obvious which was mentioned in 2019, the date in the post you quoted?
