So with the holiday bus & traint when the holidays is over with what do they do strice them down back to reg CTA colors then put them into service or do they store them?

holiday train always gets unwrapped at skokie shops and the cars remain out of service in the yard at skokie unless allstate will be their advertisement next year but the holiday bus is stored some where at south shops @YoungBusLover probably knows where they store it at SS

istg bro same thing wit 8289 took a week to come back

If it was a NF bus, it probably would've been months before it went back into service. I'm surprised they haven't fixed 8023/8229 yet tho

Those buses most likely aren't coming back. Legal hold is what they're currently on.

Novabuses having more structural parts then cars:

Yeah buses are like tanks. Mostly cars just hit the bumper. We had one get rear ended on a dan ryan exit ramp. Barely any damage, car was totaled. Where buses get into trouble is when they hit something big like a truck or structural support. We had a truck jackknife in front of a driver on the highway and our bus got totaled. Then you start worrying about your life because your accident is serious. They teach us to stay away from the trucks especially in bad weather.
