The reason they're sitting there is because they have limited space on the fence.

I can imagine them having to stop and get gas for the buses. But the best key is that fuel tanks are installed on all transit buses which can help them get through long trips. If they get hungry they can stop and get something to eat after they park the bus and then hit the road again.

I need to do some research on this Most CDL transportation companies are required to have ELDs on board their vehicles. ELDs are electronic Log Devices. They are designed so that drivers can't falsify logs when they exceed drive time and hours of duty. I dont know if there is a place to install them on transit buses. While logging in fareboxes can account for a lot of hours on duty, street reliefs may not be accounted for. In the past, transit agencies were exempt from keeping driver logs. However since these hikers go over the road, it would be in their best interest to have an ELD with them. It's possible that these hikers transport Prevost buses as well as Novas. Most of the time dispatch will calculate the mileage and let the drivers know where they need to rest. The driver might pick the hotel, but it seems like Erie is the standard place to layover for trips to Chicago from Plattsburgh.

When I was over the road we used Samsung tablets that logged you with the detection of motion. It also gives them the ability to log on duty not driving time as they deadhead back to NY. The company I worked for would sometimes send us to Vermont/Canada border or into Quebec to pick up new Prevost. We had to log the flight there as well as the drive home. With a tablet all that's needed is a USB port and a power adapter.

Of course there's a chance they stay at 77th ( for the conspiracy theorists).

I think they are going to start at 7 since 7 is the golfen chicld I thibk they should go to FG but thats the stepchild so 7 gone start with those & send the raggedy 7900's to 6 till they get new buses then they will start heading west

I haven't seen any indication of that as of yet. What I do find strange though is FG and K have gained #7900s from C.

It looks like SS is sitting on maybe 12 600s that should have gone to C by now, plus whatever number of 8350s (30?) reported here. What's the hangup?
