Just saw 6756 in the boneyard must have just been retired cuz I seen it not too long ago running down Central

6756 retired a few years ago, I believe that was either 6758 or 6759 that you saw on Central.

@Shannon CVPI I meant #6675,78, and 91 were in good condition.
I still remember when 6675 was on the 44 back in 2011 and it felt like it was its first day.

Last time I was on 6675 on Central it rode good af now 6691 be bouncing in & out of service lol

From the registration that is the original 6400 which never entered service and has remained a mechanical trainer.

The  Nova really does have that fresh-from-the-factory look despite its 18 years. Still, I wonder why it has an ad wrap if it's never seen revenue service.

So did CTA really order 484 Buses? lol

Yes, but not recently. That was the size of the Nova LFS order delivered in 2001-02: 6400-6708, followed by 6709-6883.

As they said, it could have been a pilot testing bus.

This 6400 (reg M119 823) was the pilot bus, The 6400 sold in 2015 was M118 341. The pilot bus briefly carried the fleet number 6400 but has been an unnumbered mechanical trainer ever since. Exactly the same as the pilot 1000 (M125 505) which is retained as a mechanical trainer (see https://www.chicagobus.org/buses/1000 ). The current 1000 (M164 867) was delivered at the same time as 1475-1571 batch.
