6400-series Nova LFS - Updates & Retirements

Rumor has it that CTA is pulling all the remaining 6400s off the street tonight and putting them out of service. They’re moving buses to Forest Glen from other garages to cover the lost.

Looks like they made the move earlier this morning with NP,74th and 103rd because there are no #6400's active this morning.

Looks like 6710 was the last in service on the 85 at 00:30 today (3/4) according to bustracker.

Ye so noiced that last year when I drove it when K had it when it came back into service

Well some have made it down to 77th this morning, I counted at least 7 or 8 in the bays. If inspections go well i'm positive we might use them before they're returned back to FG.

I wouldnt doubt the union had a hand in the sidelining/retirement of the 6400s. That is one cooked seat and it's getting close to their clientele!!

Idk if the 6400's gone go back to FG I think they gone be like the 60's gone get used at every garage until they all get knocked off cuz the ones we got at Kedize got K stickers in them already

It would be cool to pull the camera video but it might have got burned up.

Maybe there's cameras in the back that could've worked and weren't burned up idk though

Depends where the hard drive is. On our buses it is in the rear.

Well after doing some slight snooping today I found the rest of FGs active 6400s in the western part of the boneyard, I'll try and get some bus #s soon.

I wouldn't say that but seeing where they're parked gives me the impression that they'll get inspected, they're sitting adjacent to one of the shop buildings rather than sitting deep inside the boneyard.

What about the ones at third yard at FG are those being inspected too?
