Bus1883
Why can’t they make this a separate tracker instead of piling the #8350’s onto the 7900-series tracker like they’ve done with the #8325’s? Now we have to expect over 800-1,000 Novas on the tracker once all 600 buses are delivered, is this because the #8350’s picked up on where #8325-8349 left off? If we started the new Novas at #8400 that would be another story?

If we started the new Novas at #8400 that would be another story? I think if New Flyer or any other manufacturer would have won the bid, the numbers would have started at 8400. But since it was Nova, and they already had 7900 thru 8349, they just decided to continue with 8350. If course Pace did the exact opposite. The NABIS ended at 6322 and the Eldorado Axxess started at 6323. Then when Oace got to 6574, they jumped to 6700 rather than finishing the 6500s out. Granted they had to, or chose to skip 6600s because they were technically still in service, so Pace can be excused for that.

CTA would never continue a number where the last numbers left off at starting with a new series if New Flyer won.
Bus1883
As of now these three Pomeranians are out let’s see what’s left for the #6800’s. #8350 wasn’t showing up on the maths so I had to refresh

RJL6000
Now that I saw this, these 8350s continue with the Hanover Displays Monochrome destination signs instead of the Luminator Horizon signs. The first giveaway was 8388 with the "route 128" displayed in transit from the factory. The "2" does not look at all like a Luminator "2". By the time all options of the 8350s are picked up and delivered, the CTA will have predominantly Hanover destination signs whereas with the completion of the New Flyer bus deliveries the Luminator Horizon signs predominated. BusHunter
A few more #8350's have made an appearance at the Glen. #8366, #8361, #8392 were new buses I saw. Maintenance had a few they were working on. Looked like #8361 just came out of the wash rack.

The New Flyers are holding up very well overall.
