I guess its a race between the 8350s and his 7000s as which will go into service first?

I’m taking word for the #7000’s which there is a car that is being worked on at Skokie Shops. 75 out of the first 100 #8350’s are here and 4% of them are at FG and not one bus has gotten to say hi to CTA riders. My guess is that delivery of the first 400 cars of the #7000’s should be done in early 2025 or 2026 or can be done a it before if they end to deliver 10-14 cars a month.

7013-7022 are at skokie shops CTA accepted em……one of these nights they’ll be late night moving from skokie to rosemont i think next week

since FG has 8350 8354 8363-8364 8374 and 8384 my guess is they’ll see service very soon from what i heard 8350-8399 are heading to FG and 8400-8449 to 103rd

At this rate,  the base order will be delivered before any of them see revenue service.

Funny part is there is a few at FG and 103rd with licensed plates, fareboxes and ventra readers already installed when they where at SS before and not one bus is yet in service with the remainder #6400’s not running as much but let’s say they are doing better than the Proterras??

At least rge Proterras have been in revenue service.   Granted they also have spent more time out of service than in service,  but as little in service time as they have, it's more than the 8350s so far.

Here's a video of 8363 on the 152, plus 8330 was on the 49, X49, and 62H today.

Maybe #8330 at 74th is not a fluke. That may be the next location of #8350's. Nobody ever said what was the 3rd garage getting training.
