1200s were at 77th most of their lives, too.s

Not sure of the significance, other than that CTA unwound the odd/even between NP and 103, got 1000-1110 out of A to C and those and the 1300s out of C, and finally got more than 30 at 74th, and the previously discussed mileage and maintenance differences between garages. For all the talk about 77th being favored, it kept its 1200s and 6400s.

Yea most of the 12's been at 7 since like 2012-14 cause I remember K & FG having the 12's

Original allocation (you can look it up) was 1000-1110 Archer, 1111-1220 K (which then had the oldest fleet, as its 6000s with preheaters went to FG), 1221s to 77, etc. FG didn't get any 1000s until much later, since then it had, comparatively speaking, the newest fleet, with 6000s (from K) and 6400s. 74th only got 30 1000s, approx. 1761-1791, also because it had 6000s.

Here's a weird one: 1861 is now at Forest Glen (but has not run out of there yet, last ran on 97 in mid-June based on Maths), but this bus is in the boneyard atm with the new 8350s

it’s not in the boneyard it’s in the regular yard

That area in the yard where 1861 and 1767 is considered  maintenance/not in service hold area.

1767 back at north park

Interestingly 1861 remains at FG. I rode it on the 84 yesterday afternoon.

1794 ran on the 86 by surprise this afternoon, probably broke down at northwest highway (right before the railroad crossing). The follower bus (6870) actually passed 1794 meaning 1794 might’ve broke down. While I was on 6870 I passed thru that intersection and that bus was gone. It’s been a long while since 1794 last ran at forest glen, unfortunately it didn’t even make a full round to the Pete’s on lake street

4050 back at Kedzie

1943 C to 3, on the 29

4089 K to 3, on the 29

Usually you'll see some buses get used as extras from Navy Pier Storage for the AM rush periods. They also could be extras for Lala this upcoming week.
