Did Nova 6595 transfer from FG to 77th? I saw it this morning on the #2 Hyde Park Express.

6594 and 6595 have been at 77th since the February 2010 pick when Archer Garage was closed to revenue buses. 6500s at FG are 6567 and 6569-6593.

On bus tracker 4055 is on 156 this morning. 4105 is still at 103rd

This now results in the following artic garage assignments:

K: 4000-4057

103: 4059-4105

NP: 4106-4207

4058 is on long-term hold for repair or scrapping.

I wonder if it is going to be scrapped... it's been out of service for a good while now. The accident was on 10-9-10, over 5 months ago. While a repair for the bus would've taken awhile, I think 2-3 months and 4058 would've been back on the road again.

Was 4058 the one that got involved in a accident on Southbound S. Lake Shore Drive while working #6 that lost control and hit a tree?

Don't know if there is any relevance to this or not, but I spotted 1393 working #73 Armitage around 4:00pm this afternoon on BusTracker.

When it was first delivered, 1393 was a Chicago Garage-based bus. At this point (13 April 2011) it is a loan from NP.

I'm sorry to ask this but since when did NP receive any 1300s NFs?

Around the time of the February pick of last year (2010). In that upper 1300s to lower 1400s range NP received 1375-1429. (1345-1374 went to Kedzie.) NP sent its 1431-1479 odds and 1856-1928 evens to Chicago.

NP also has some lower 1300s, which were transferred from 77th around June or July of last year.

I thought that particular swap of NF's between Chicago and NP was earlier than that.

Probably some time sooner than the February 2010 pick.

Curious about this myself, I looked it up for you. Feb 2009 was when the higher #1300's were transferred to NP and the higher #1800's evens were transferred to Chicago. I also found out more info about the Kedzie buses on the #152 during ballgames. Kedzie is running extra runs for the #152 during those times, starting with this pick. So we'll be seeing those on a regular basis for now anyway. Yesterday there were two buses parked outside Wrigley for game 1, #4002 and #4033. I don't know yet if the runs are running in service EB. I've only seen them in service WB.

Few Days ago, I spotted an Nova #648- working Route 15-Jeffery Local turning off Stony Island to E.67th St.

I have been noticing the same thing these last few days. Yesterday I've spotted NOVA's on the 15 Jeffery Local around 5:30 am and later that evening saw 6613 on the 28 Stony Island around 6. Monday I've passed a NOVA on the X28 Stony Island Express but didn't get the number.

can someone explain why the south side is continuously losing artics? It seems to me that the North Side has all it needs at this point while garages like 77th could REALLY use some on its routes seeing as they are constantly in the top 10 ridership category. Maybe you could shift some artics that are used for the 151's that go all the way to Devon since most of their heaviest loads are from Diversy.
