I thought Kedzie didn't like Novabuses...

it’s 567s decision not the garage. We may HEAR about garages being the reason a bus type isn’t there but it’s up to the scheduling department as well as mechanics. Just like everyone thought the drivers were the reasons 77th doesn’t keep artics for long when it’s the sheer amount of service volume that prevents artics from working there without affecting spare ratio. Also keep in mind that kedzie tends to keep older buses outside of the few 1700s and 1600s since it runs a lot of downtown and peak only service. It had the oldest artics along with a lot of the 1200s that 77th and 103rd wasn’t holding for the longest till 1000 series rehabs reshuffled everything

That's an odd trade to be honest. I would of assumed Kedzie would of traded with 77th to gain more lower #7900s in exchange for the rest of there low or mid #1200s rather than #1800s. Then again I do get the aspect of getting 8100s from Chicago because they probably have lower mileage than our lower #7900s do.

Ummmm 6882 appears to be on the 30 South Chicago route operated by 103rd garage. Really weird sighting on my bus tracker lolimage.thumb.png.24427d09f19aacc3a727c2ab488118af.png

It’s weird to see a old nova operating on a Southside route, it’s been a while since late 2014.

Yep, and now that has returned for one sunny early August morning. Might be the last time that ever happens.
