While training a new driver today we ran across a person with a service dog by me being in the military I knew what wen on right away but the rookie gone tell the guy that he couldn't bring his dog on the bus he started to say it's my service dog but the rookie cut him off & tried to close the doors I told the rookie bro service dogs are allowed do you want a lawsuit I made him get out of the seat & he never drove the rest of the day should I let the supervisor know about this don't wanna get the kid fired but really put him on game about it

Just my humble opinion,  but I don't think that warranted pulling the rookie out of the driver seat unless he was driving unsafe or purposely not following your directions.  Explaining ASA regulations should have been already have been covered in classroom training before he was put on the street.   I think that you overreacted.

I don't know about kicking him out of the seat, but he definitely violalated the ADA and should be reported.

I never was a Marine, but the trainee is now essentially in CTA Boot Camp, and you're correct that he will get into trouble in the future if he does it again.

All you have to do is show the rookie the SOPs in regards to serivce animals. I don't understand what's changed since I went through the training facility in 2019 at Chicago but they made it abundantly clear to not go back and forth with the ADA let alone anyone that boards with a serivce animal. I would of left him in the seat until the end of your run and then get on him about it. Line instructors do fill out reports of students at the end of the day and turn it in to the Instruction Dept.

I know but I didn't want to possibly get the kid fired like he did good everywhere else but I just got pissed to the point where I turned red & I'm darkskin

You should've given it to the cops!  They might have gotten fingerprints or even DNA off of it!

Naw I'm good I don't talk to police I don't get paid to do their job I just get paid to do mines drive & safely get people close to where they are going & which they probably wasn't going to do anything with it no way but just out it in the  Evidence room & leave it or put it back in the streets

You don't know that for a fact.   Yhst kinda thinking us why we have so many unsolved crimes.   People know stuff but don't talk, which gives the bad guys cover to do more crime.

From stories I've heard over the years from within the company plenty of operators we're 50/50 on doing the right thing because of several factors that play a role with it but nonetheless you're right with your point.

Not true if they did the work they get paid to do they can solve the crimes they don't want to unless one of their law brraking own is involved or it hits national news then they can solve crimes but it has to take one or the 2 for them to do the job they get paid for

Water pollution, for one, and it might have been evidence. Doesn't CTA have procedures?

Thus is real life bro I'm not putting my name on no public info from the police trying to do a job I don't get paid for & then if it gets leaked people come sliding where my family stay & I have to stand on business then nah I'm good bro I have a daughter I have to see grow up not risking my life for something that I don't get paid for I did in the marines & nobody cares about that so I'm good my parents always said mind the business that pays you & my teachers said keep your eyes on your own paper

As @YoungBusLover said, regardless of whatever your duty as a CTA employee is, you did put your "name on ... public info."  Given how the cops follow "social media," I bet they know that there is a magazine under the Madison St. bridge and know who you are. And I could put down money at any casino  that your supervisor is on this forum [as I said before].  I don't know if he or she cares, but get real.
