Is this because there is a lack of artics, or because the passenger need isn’t that high and the buses sent out on routes reflect this?

 A considerable portion of the 6’s ridership is people that are probably still WFH (the Hyde Park riders mostly, since a lot of the South Shore riders are either taking the 26 when it runs or transferring to J14 @ 67th/Jeffery), compared to J14 which had a lot more essential workers (one being myself).

I rode #1489 today and she did kinda good but it is not one of the original shift gear flyers.

Ye because some have been gone for a year some might have a seized engine like 4175 but I thought those could get fixed but New Flyer is scarce on parts i see

I don't know what happened to it since then because the transmission jumps out of gear so bad, I've had to play with the gas pedal all day just to get the bus moving properly without stalling.

Dam it's all bad 1207 was like that when I last at it it did like how 5527 use to do press the gas take a sec for it to go then took off kinda slow

few of lower 1200s and some few upper 1300s have returned to 77th from Kedzie and NP in exchange return of Artics
