MTRSP1900-CTA3200
Speaking of green guys, have anybody noticed this green light on top of the run number sign box??? Courtesy of #3305. Maybe because it's also missing a number? Just a guess. Also, during the final months of the 2400s on the Green Line some of the cars had green door indicator lights inside the cars added. They were on the full width section of lights over the doorways, facing forwards or backwards.

sw4400
Another Green Ranger sighting.... maybe the Green Line? Really needs to get his Zord and teleporter fixed... I doubt he's exempt from paying the $2.25... hopefully his Ventra Card is working.

Tracks away from the platform indicate that the station is one of the North Red Line rehabs.

Busjack
Looks like either Fullerton or Belmont on the North Side Main though. I'm putting money on Fullerton. Problem with that scenario is that the platform is not between tracks 1 and 2, but apparently between tracks 2 and 3, which is how I came to my conclusion. Someone used to post on chicagonow.com pictures usually taken at ancient CTA scenes where one could identify the location by buildings in the background, but the ranger is blocking the background here. Fullerton might be supported by the curve around the [i presume no longer] Dominick's, except the platform is in the wrong position. Blowing it up, the tracks appear on concrete, so might be Addison, but I'm not convinced.

True. I don't blame you. However track one is incredibly hard to see because of the way the picture was taken. One thing I also noticed were the buildings, and the white railings behind the train. In this video, you can see the railings, and the black water tower thing that also appears in the photo.

It also looks like the edge of the concrete structure for the tracks.
ChicagoNova
I spotted 4304 going northbound on South Shore Drive this afternoon while I was on the #26, and the destination sign, in an interesting turn of events, read, "North Park Garage". jajuan
I spotted 4304 going northbound on South Shore Drive this afternoon while I was on the #26, and the destination sign, in an interesting turn of events, read, "North Park Garage". It's a glitch in the sign problem in the current sign program upgrade as someone else mentioned several posts up. It apparently makes a North Park Garage sign pop up when a 103rd bus is deadheading into downtown to get into position for 103rd's downtown runs not tied to a northbound passenger trip on any route. So it's probably still safe to say 4304 is still assigned to 103rd and probably found itself on an extra southbound trip of the 6 or 14 or maybe went into service as a 26, UPDATE: A quick browse of BusTracker, starting with the #6 and increasing in route numbers, verifies that 4304 did in fact find its way in service on the #6 and is currently at the SB South Shore/73rd stop as I write this update. The reason for that deadhead might have been to help finish out southbound rush hour service on the 6 with some artics in place as BusTracker shows most of the southbound trips and all of the current northbound trips are currently being serviced with 40 foot buses at this hour. Mr.cta85
As I was pulling in from my 2nd half route this evening around 6:20 I saw but 1295 parked outside the garage. Im not sure why but thats a 77th garage bus. Maybe 103rd will be getting a few late 1200 who knows. But just wanted to share that with you guys. BusHunter
If you didn't already know #1191 was back at 77th I believe on Friday. Seemed funny seeing all these #6400's on the #76. 13 days and they will be stuck in Nova country with the rest of us on the NW side. Today they had a big 30-40 minute gap in service on the #76. Don't know if that was nova related, but I did count about 7-8 novas on the #76. It would be interesting to find out if all these old buses are affecting service punctuality. Seems like bus packs are normal on the #77 and I didn't notice that before.

The #9 also got hit with a big 30 minute or more gap a couple of times that were atypical of any delays the route usually might encounter. The 9 can see some delays but delays that big don't happen often and these occurred after 77th forked of some of its Novas for some of 74th's NFs. So who knows? It may be possible. jtrosario
Looks like either Fullerton or Belmont on the North Side Main though. I'm putting money on Fullerton. Had to go look with all the comments here. I'm pretty sure the Green Ranger is facing SB standing next to the NB Red line track at Belmont. The NB platform he is on is between tracks 3 & 4. The white railing in the backround is the start of the SB platform, which is completely hidden by the train. Track 1 can be seen just past/on the other side of the white railing next to the far buildings. To the left of the Green Ranger's head between the building tops and the sky in the far backround, we see the very top southern face of Wrigley Field with its night lighting sticking out on top. I used to stand at the the old NB platform in my daily commute switching from Red to Brown and somewhat recognize the black water tower. I think its located between the Red/Purple and Brown lines very close to the junction.
garmon757
I hope this is temporary because #1253 is on #44 and #1017 and #1488 are on #62 right now.

Posted rosters still indicated that 74th is about half NF. It got some low 6400s, presumably to be replaced there by 7900s, but the reports are not like at FG. I don't want to jump into conclusions by saying that 103rd are about to do swaps with 74th for the sake of the 7900s....

I think what he's getting at is all three of those NFs are from 103rd if I remember 103rd's NF 1000 roster correctly. And that could possibly be explained as 74th needed three 4 40-foot buses to fill runs today and borrowed from 103rd.
BusHunter
#6471 popped up on the #80 today so it's a fg bus afterall. That must have switched garages over the weekend. Don't know where #6470 is currently.
artthouwill
Tonight I saw 4075 & 4107 SB on Laramie at Congress and at Jackson within 2 minutes of each other. They were both training buses from Chicago Ave garage.

I hadn't seen it for a while after spotting it on the 135, but I had my doubts that it went back to C since NP hadn't given the other ex-C buses back.
