BusFinder has 8105 on 53 at the moment.

Which goes to show some just need to show patience especially when Chicago Garage up to now has only had barely 10 available and active for use. So you're not going to see them on all the garage's routes starting out right off the bat. 77th and 74th also had routes that had to wait as numbers grew on their rosters.

Especially #59 and #75.

Especially #59 and #75.

So true. #75 barely gets novas as it is.

#8112 first sighting today on 74. #8102, #8103, #8106 are all in service as well. Isn't it a bit early for them to start running on the weekends? If I remember correctly, 77th didn't have them on weekends until about 2-3 weeks into delivery and the same for 74th.

I don't think there is any criterion other than whether the drivers are adequately trained.

I suppose that would be up to whoever assigns the buses at each garage.  Perhaps the managers at 74th and 77th decided to initially keep those buses in for the weekends initially.  The Chicago managers figured a bus is a bus.  Put them out there and save the old Novas from working weekends.

Pace certainly put the new Eldorados out on the weekend.  My first ride on one was on a Saturday.

We got the second bus on #53, #8103. Still nothing on the #54.

Funny, as soon as I mention nothing was on the #54, #8104 pulls out on a PM run. So I think that they have now been on all routes out of Chicago. Here's a bunch of pictures of #8100's

We still have the #121 and the #125, although I don't think the latter will be seen for some time. As it stands, only #8100 is out today on #70

They were on the #125 like on the first day, that day I took #8105's picture on the #132. I didn't pick up on it til they were pulling in though or I would have been over there. I think Garmon said they were on the #121, but it was that same morning I believe.

That solves that then.

#8100: 70

#8107: 20

#8110: 74

#8112: 54

The 12 and 151 are Kedzie routes and not Chicago.

My bad, I was going by the chicagobus.org garage listing

To clarify, the Chicago listings NewFlyerMCI are from when Chicago was doing some AM rush hour runs on those two to help out Kedzie. Even if it were still the case, you wouldn't see any Chicago Garage assigned Smart buses on either on the weekend anyway given the conditions that Chicago did runs for those routes. And in the case of the 12, it still would not have been likely because Chicago ran those with artics due to the fact that after ending at Roosevelt/Kedzie WB, Chicago had those deadhead up Kedzie Avenue to become #66 buses. The artics you're seeing now are Kedzie's in the case of the #12 and both Kedzie's and NP's in the case of 151 because 151 is shared between Kedzie and NP, the Belmont short trips being Kedzie run and the full trippers to Devon being North Park run.

I mentioned #8106 was on #121 on July 24th.
