A few post-Labor-Day equipment transfers to report, all from Chicago Ave. to either Forest Glen or Kedzie:

1000-1004 C to F.   Someone already updated this one.

1380(?)-1385 C to F also.  1377 still at C, but not sure about 1378-79.

1835-1839 C to K.

An additional move: Migration of 2 or 3 buses from North Park to Kedzie:

1842 & 1846.  (Uncertain about 1847.  1848 remains at NP.)

(Source: Math22's roster of buses in real-time service.)

I saw 1379 on Diversey and 1847 on Broadway.

One more reassigned vehicle to report. I spotted 4197 covering a short-turn Sheridan run yesterday. Not sure whether any additional 4190s migrated from 103rd to Kedzie.

1000 series New Flyers buses from 1000-1429 should come back to Kedzie garage one day. It's been a min since those buses been at Kedzie garage. I'm happy that Chicago Ave garage have some but CTA bring some back to Kedzie

Why did #1000-#1004 buses come back from Chicago to back to Forest Glen?

Because  with the change in schedules, stuff happens.

If anything, after the last big series of moves, they should have been FG buses.

4196-4197 moved from 103rd to Kedzie.

Weren't those Jump buses?

Did they have any special Jump equipment?

No.Your thinking about 4096-4097. However, 4097 is no longer Jump wrapped, but still at 103rd.

4196-4197 are the longitude seating Stimulus Artics.

On further review, you're right, I'm off by one digit.

I don't even think that matters so much anymore between the jump buses both steadily being unwrapped and just being assigned to any artic route instead of staying on runs assigned to or interlined with J14.

The question was not so much the wrap as the BusTracker.

It's kinda weird that Forest Glen always get the oldest buses lol

FG currently  has the newest Novas. When they first received the  6400 series Novas they received the last batch brand new.

What seems to be the problem? I seem to be seeing a good handful of 40 footers on the #6.

Have the rehabs started? Anyway, there should be a sufficient surplus to cover that.

There's 4-car train running backwards and forwards on the NSML, southbound purple line track (track 1?) between Sheridan Rd. in Rogers Park and some point further south. Any ideas why the strange movement? Training purposes? Video attached.

I don't know, but Track 1 would have been the westernmost track.

BTW, all I got was a train heading downward into the ground, as the video wasn't that descriptive.

Per official September 2017 assignment list:

1821 gone. Reason??

4300, 7900 back on list. Have either been actually seen recently?

804 only 800 left.

Was 1821 the bus that got hit head on on Madison Street ?

UPDATE....I stand corrected....the bus in this pic is 1805.

According to Busjack and Patman119, #1821 hit a building in the 5000 block of west Armitage. That #1805 picture looks bad, that bus looks to be out at least two years from the damage.

do you know why they moved i know now 1000-1004 are back at FG. Chicago also gave 1379-1385 to FG

Simply put, as got mentioned before part of the summer to fall schedule change. Chicago didn't need extra buses any longer to handle beach service on the #72 and FG needed buses back to do school service on a number of its routes like at the north end of the #91 to/from Bryn Mawr/Nagle for Taft High School. When it comes to reasons for specific fleet numbers, you'd have to ask CTA Bus Operations.
