It don’t make sense to why C is getting the 8350s. Because think about they are getting the remaining ZX5 Proterras from SS. So why is it that 3 8350s are at C, when they are gettting more ZX5s. It doesn’t make any damn sense. Those 3 8350s at C. Should go to 103rd first of all to begin with.

They're probably just temporary loans, no need to get over dramatic. There have been buses getting loaned all over the place in recent weeks.

I rode one yesterday on #95. I thought it interesting that I did not hear a "CLICK" when the driver unlocked the rear door when I exited. Is this true of all the Novas of this series?

I think I may have to go back to 103rd just to drive the new novas cause they’re starting to grow on me. Although I still love the flyers.

The CTA Board approved purchase of the second contract option for 100 additional Nova buses, bringing the total to 300 now. The ordinance approving the purchase is linked below. 

There wasn't any discussion about the item at the meeting, it was approved alongside a number of other purchases. When the first option was approved it was said that the buses would be arriving in Fall/Winter 2022, so I would imagine that the 8550s will probably start arriving pretty soon after.

Thanks for the link to the ordinance. When I saw the agenda item, I thought that $7.5 million wasn't going to buy 100 buses (maybe $60 million would), but the ordinance explained that.

FG got majority of the 8350’s 103rd got some too and there are reports that Chicago got some but don’t know if they’re there permanently or they’re slated to go to FG or 103rd.

FG has 8350-8382, 8384-8387, 8389, 8391-8395, 8397-8399, 8401, 8403, 8418-8422 

103rd has 8383, 8388, 8390, 8396, 8400, 8402, 8404, 8407, 8409, 8417, 8426, 8428, 8431-8432
